The Specialized Deviant carbon fibre full face helmet is extremely light, and tough. I have had one for a year, only to write it off with a huge crash into a fence post, but its held up to many many crashes before hand, and is well ventilated. One problem that i have had, is the silver grill over the vent at the front has come off, and also the rubber guard around the top of the chin guard. Overall though, a good helmet. But if you have that kind of money to spend, go for a Troy Lee. james

Today i rode a 2007 giant glory for the day. It was a factory set up. As soon as i got on, i though oooo what a heavy piece of kit!, but once i got moving it cornered like a dream, sinking down into the corners. It wasnt the most agile bike to style jumps on, but soaked everything up! I enjoyed riding so much im looking at buying one. james

The launch helmet is £70 and for its price its not very good the paint work just peels of it is also very heavy but it has a few good points its got nice padding and lasts a long time overall rating i would give it a 6/10.
