Detriment will be back on the scene again this spring. In the summer 0f 2004 our lead guitarist Brett Stephani left Detriment, he is currently with a band called Grieving For Grace, we all wish him the best. But after a small hiatus, Detriment has reformed with a new guitarist, Brad Maestro, formally of the God Smack tribute band Awake. So be prepared this year for Detriment's classic & new original music.

The Cd has been sent out to all different record labels & metal websites and is getting a very positve response. DETRIMENT attempted to open for VINCE NEIL on Friday Nov. 7th, but Vince was chained up in the basement of The Kings Club, so we heard. So we headlined in his place. Along with Mr. Scary & Borgo Pass. Thanks to everyone who came out that night. Our next show is at THE RED ZONE in Queens on Friday Dec.5th we hope to see some DETRIMITES there, we know it's a little far, but it should be a good show.

Detriment is currently in the studio recording 5 new songs, to be added to th 3 song demo.
