What we are about
The Derry Flute Band is a non profit organization committed to bring entertainment to the streets of Toronto. The band has been in numerous events such as the Toronto Santa Claus Parade, the Niagara Grape and Wine festive, Octoberfest, and Youngstown, New York. In 1982 the band made their first trip across to Northern Ireland and were so impressed they went back two more times, 1987 and than for the Tercentary Celebrations of the Battle of the Boyne in 1990.Yes, from 1908 until 2008 the band has been sharing its music in the streets of Toronto for 100 years.
