Nick Allen ~ is co-founder and club Secretary, a retired Firefighter living in Derby. Nick returned to the hobby about 20 years ago, spent several years on the IPMS/UK Executive Committee in various posts including Webmater and Publicity Officer. Enjoys building anything interesting, especially trucks, writes occasionally for 'Military Modelcraft International' magazine, articles include MAN 6x6, Ford Model T Maintenance Vehicle and Unimog Pilot Rescue Vehicle.

Brian Fawcett is a professional pattern maker living and working from home in Cromford and co-founder of the group. Brian was apprenticed as a model maker from leaving school and apart from a stint with the1st RTR (tanks), he's been involved with model and pattern making for many years. Customers include Aeroclub ~ 1:144 / 1:72 and 1:48 scales e.g Vulcan, Accurate Armour ~ e.g. Tortoise & Scammell Pioneer, Airshow Models ~ 1:32 Aerobatic Aircraft e'.g. Pitts, Dynavector ~ 1:48 Aircraft e.g. Javelin, Fire Brigade Models ~ 1:48 vehicles e.g. Bedford SB, MDC ~ 1:32 / 1:48 aircraft e.g. Swordfish, Typhoon, Welsh Models ~ 1:144 Airliners e.g. Boeing 777, and more recently Games Workshop ~ lots of stuff in different scales including Baneblade & Stormsword. There's also railways, farm equipment and R/C aircraft. Main modelling interest when he's not pattern making for other people are 1:12 GP bikes, F1 cars and 1:32 aircraft.
David Jane ~ is an established architectural modeller and pattern maker living in Sheffied, customers include Accurate Armour ~ 1:35 / 1:48 vehicles e.g Matador, Faun, Foden. David spent 10 years on the IPMS/UK Executive Coommittee, the last four of those as President. David will build anything of interest.
Roy Wells ~ resides in Chesterfield and has been a model maker for approximately 15 years, he was introduced to the hobby by his father, himself an avid modeller. Roy's main interest is German, and to a lesser degree, Russian armour of WWII in 1:35 scale. He's an amazing armour modeller with an eye for intricate detail and a talent for diorama building. Glenn Wilson ~ enjoys building aircraft, especially the 30's and 40's variety, and even better if they're Italian, also interested in a variety of ship models from ancient to Elizabethan.
Diane Wilson ~ is the senior young member of the club, main interest is building MIG aircraft.
Frazer Shaw ~ has recently returned to the hobby after a 20 year break. Interests are racing bikes (real and the model variety), formula 1 and 1:48 WWI / WWII aircraft, he's also nuts about strawberry cream chocolates, so if you come to the club meeting, watch yer chocolates!
Frank Mullen ~ has been an engineer at Rolls Royce in Derby for 25 years. Modelling interests are aircraft, ships, figures, armour and wargaming.
Mark Chadbourne ~ lives and works in the Burton upon Trent area. A member of the Aerobatic Team SIG http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~garys/ and the review team on Scale Aviation Modeller International, interests are mainly fast jets of the 60's / 70's.
Vinny Rizzo ~ is one of our younger members and lives in the Burton upon Trent area. Modelling interests are mainly cars in 1:32 but aims to move higher up the scales starting with 1:24 cars.
Derek Snelling ~ resides in the Litchfield area and modelling interests are principally 1:35 WWII armour, although he has ventured into 1:16 with the Tamiya radio controlled Tiger. Also has an interest in 1:72 ships and cutaway models of anything showing interior detail, occassionally building something different like the Revell North Sea Oil Platform.
