Two new contributions has been added to the dolls and blinkie sections.  Due to popular demand, we have decided to create a page for people who want to share their personal stories with depression entitled 'Others' Stories. Please read the updated 'How to Contribute' section for story submissions. Thank You.

Currently, we are working very hard to put all the contributions on this site. We are sorry for the long hiatus.  Please e-mail us if we have not posted your doll(s), blinkie(s), information, etc. We are getting our lives together and we will start updating everything soon. Thank You.

          Mission Statement.

Our aim is to make as many people as possible aware of the consequences of suffering with depression.  Depression has probably affected almost every person you know at some time in their life but yet people still don’t know what to do or how to support someone who is suffering with it.  It really isnt a case of “put things to the back of your mind and you’ll feel better” or “oooh you just have to get on with it, that’s what most people do...”.  Comments like this are really NOT helpful at all, what your friend or loved one needs is support, the best way to give support is by understanding what they are likley to be goin through.  This site offers some insight into depression, but what we would really like is to show that you are AWARE of the issues surrounding depression.  To show your support take a blinkie or a doll and stick it on your site, if you don’t like any of ours, make one of your own and send it to us so that others may use it.  Please don’t just snag one because they look nice or it’s your good deed for the day, read through or info or go and find some info off your own back, you never know when it will come in handy.
