| How
to Get Here ? Swagman option: For our first
time customers we suggest they take the Swagman route to La Union.
Swagman have a airport pick up service which is called Fly the Bus.
They'll transfer you from
Manila airport to the Narra Hotel in Angeles city, which is about 2 hours north
of Manila.
We recommend you spend the first night in Angeles as it breaks the
journey and there are plenty of fine restaurants and night life to keep
you entertained. The next day you can catch an air-conditioned bus to La
Union. Alternately, Swagman has a bus service of their own from Angeles
to La Union which leaves the Narra Hotel, Angeles every Mon., Wed. and
Fri. at 8 am. The beauty of the Swagman buses is that there is no
hassles with carrying boards, they have good air-conditioning and have
little luxuries on board like cold beer!. You can book Swagman Hotel
and Bus tickets regardless of what country you are arriving from.
Do it yourself:
If you are coming from Manila and wish to make your own arrangements
then you will either have to hire a car or catch a air-conditioned bus
to get here. The bus firms (Dominion Bus Lines, Philippine, Rabbit,
Partas, Farinas, Maria De Leon and Viron) depart from terminals in
Manila and have aircon marked on the front of the bus as well as the
destination. The destination can be either Laoag, Abra or Vigan which
will drop you off at the front of the resort . Tell the driver you want
to get off at a Resort in Bauang or San Juan .A one way bus ticket will cost
around P280. If you are coming from Angeles City then catch any of the
above north bound buses at Dau, which is on the outskirts of Angeles.
If you are coming from
Baguio
then catch any mini-bus that is marked La Union (including San Fernando
, Bauang, San Jaun , etc.
Hire cars can be booked at the airport, or you can book one in
advance to meet you there. This is not a bad idea when there is a few of
you to share the costs as well as making it a lot easier to carry the
boards. You can also do a deal with some of the taxis waiting at the
airport and occasionally pick up a bargain that way.

dollar per kilometer.
