This memorial website was created in the loving memory of our dad, Dennis Dale Broitzman who was born on January 17, 1947 & left us on August 13, 2006 to go home to be with our Lord & Savior. Dad had been battling Lou Gehrig's & dementia for 2 long years. It was hard seeing him go through all that he did. We sure miss him more then we could have ever imagined! May God give us all peace & comfort during this difficult time & replace our sorrows with joy! Dad is now with the Lord in Heaven & probably ran to scoop his little granddaughter, Amanda Jo, up in his arms!!!
God saw he was getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around him
And whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer
And saw him fade away,
Although we loved him dearly
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Dad loved farming. He farmed since he was only 4 years old! He raised pigs for a long time & later tried steer & some goats. He loved seeing his children (Brian & Kelli) and all his grandchildren. He loved hunting with Brian, traveling & going to casinos. Dad loved Christmas & watching his grandchildren open gifts, but his favorite holiday was July 4th. He LOVED watching the fireworks! We loved going out to the farm & watching them from his farm or shooting off our own!

Dad always had a smile on his face. People would comment how he always smiled. People have made comments on how they miss his smiles & joking. He loved making people laugh & would always try to cheer people up. The song playing is called "One day at a time" and was one of his favorite songs. He loved listening to Kelli play it on the piano and singing it when she lived at home. The song on his guestbook page is a song dad loved too. Called "The Wanderer".
