'Script' Role Playing
"Script" role playing is the less complicated version of role playing, since there is no real need for much describing.

For an example of 'Script' role plays, look below.
Please note that I am using two of my characters in the examples this time.

Player 1: Jesseil: =sits on a large hollow log, licking his front paw=

Player 2: Sophia: =peeks out from inside of the log and crawls out, realizing that there was a large black and white cougar-like creature lying on top of her sleeping area= Whoa! So that's what all the racket was..

Player 1: =quickly stops grooming out of surprise as he notices the long-haired, doberman pinscer-like canine= Oh, hello. I didn't see you there. ^^ Sorry about that. Would you like me to leave?

Player 2: Sophia: No, no..of course not. ^^ You just woke me up because I thought my bedroom was going to cave in.

See? It's much simpler, but also much less literate. For example, if you don't tell the person what your pet looks like before you start the role play, they wont know unless you have a picture of your pet publically displayed somewhere or show it to them.

Otherwise, this is basically self-explanitory.

Obviously, the thing before the colon ( The ':' ) is the character's name.

The things in between the equal signs (='s) are the character's actions. You may use basically ANY kind of 'Action Quote' that you want to; including *, ::, #, ( ), [ ] (not suggested for role plays on the boards because it will not show up) and { } and so on. It's really very simple, but it's more fun if not everyone uses the same asterics.

And obviously, the things after the name and colon is what they are saying. See? Very simple. Not much explaining needed. ^^
