Our Kappa Beta Alumnae are the best there is. Delta Zeta is the oldest sorority at NKU, founded in 1972. We have a long history of success and a wonderful support system built with our alums.

Pat Priest (right), Alpha Chi (UCLA); Actress in The Munsters TV show of the 1960s as the pretty blonde cousin; legacy of U.S. Treasurer Ivy Baker Priest  (see Government) (center).

Edith Head (Ihnen) (*), University of California/Berkley; first female head of a movie studio costume design department; winner of eight Academy Awards for costume design including “The Sting” with Paul Newman and Robert Redford; named one of ten outstanding Greeks during the 1976 Bicentennial; 1968 Woman of the Year. A cartoon version of her played a fashion designer in the Disney/Pixar creation, The Incredibles.

Gail Patrick (*) (Margaret Fitzpatrick) Howard College; Actress in movies such as Stage Door with Katherine Hepburn and My Favorite Wife with Cary Grant; one of the first female television producers in the industry, produced the Perry Mason show; 1962 Woman of the Year

Florence Henderson,  UCLA; Actress  on The Brady Bunch and spokesperson for the hearing impaired

Marti Dodson, Ohio State University; founder and lead singer of rock band Saving Jane, most famous for their hit song "Girl Next Door;" the single "Girl Next Door" peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 100. The video debuted on MTV's Total Request Live's countdown on April 24, 2006 at #9.

Dr. Carolyn Leach Huntoon – Northeastern State University of Louisiana; Astronaut Director of NASA; leading scientist in space travel; 1977 Woman of the Year

Crown Princess Martha of Norway; became an initiated member of Delta Zeta after visiting the University of North Dakota and becoming interested in the role the sorority played in the lives of college women; was initiated in 1939 by a ceremony that was presided over by National President Myrtle Graeter Malott; personally thanked Delta Zeta for aid to her country’s children through the Foreign Friendships Service after World War II.

Susan Patterson Perry-Lindle, University of Wisconsin/Eau Claire; (Retired) Colonel, Military Intelligence Corp., U.S. Army; first female officer assigned to a combat brigade of an infantry division in Europe. Susan is the Sisterhood Advisor at NKU.
