Music Update - Working on a new country song and just uploaded "Act 12 - If All the Flowers Die" intended to be the last song on the third album.

I don't have a lot of time since I have to go play some tennis with my buddy Marco. My dad is coming to town this evening to give me a ride back to St. Helens for the thanksgiving weekend. I plan on sticking to my diet, thanksgiving fare isn't really my thing anyways. It will be fun to be out of Eugene for the first time this term.

I am getting together with some summer work friends to watch some "The Office" at some point during the weekend. I am also hanging out with some high school friends to do some "dubbing" (
improvisation voice recording over old cartoons or drama shows) Hoping to get some outback steakhouse on the way into town. I am hungry for some non-pasta non-oatmeal kind of food.

I should update again on sunday (Not bringing my PC with me to St. Helens) But at any rate, I have to get off to play some tennis and head out of town.

Music Update - After a year hiatus from the website, I am back. I've written a lot of music in the last year and it's getting uploaded over the next week or so. A third "Grey Text" Album is out (Twelve Songs of the Human Experience) and I'll upload the handful of new complete songs from that soon.

So this is my first update since before college started over a year ago. I am in a travelling A Capella group now (On the Rocks) and I do a lot of beatboxing and a little singing for them. It's quite a bit of fun. Just downloaded Hootie and the Blowfish's "Cracked Rear View," which is an amazing album. Also listening to a lot of guster and classical stuff now. (Handel is the best composer in history)

I'm not a music major any more as of the second term of my freshman year. I am doing political science now, because it's easy. That's why all the football players go this route. Midterm, Final, Paper and out. That's all there is to it. Lots of lecture classes with professors of varying competence.

Just got back from a cabin retreat in Seaside yesterday with OtR. Lots of drinking and beach football (And a small amount of singing) and I learned to never play king's cup, because I suck at the rules. Despite all the fast food and beer consumed on On The Rocks' road trips, I am steadily losing weight (1 or 2 pounds a week) I eat a lot of vegetables, canned fruits, and healthy foods. (Whole grain and wheat crackers, bread, carrots etc.) I've gotten into tennis and racquetball as well as cardio workouts at the rec center. My new lifestyle has lost me about 35 pounds since summer.

I gotta go to class to sing Purcell's "If Music Be the Food of Love" so I'll update tonight hopefully with new MIDIs.

Music Update - Holy Crap friends, it's been a while. Check out the new song: "Wizzdom - live version," it is my favorite rock song I have ever written, seriously check it out. Also "Axe to Grind" is named "Wash It" now, and it is uploaded. Take a listen.

Wow, it's been over four months since an update. Well I guess I'll fill everyone in. Peter Pan was a smashing success, lots of fun, and the script and music are very impressive for a pair of high school writers. I am about 2 weeks from opening in the "wizard of oz" (I am the lion) and the show is going to be tons of fun. I sing 2 songs, and that's the reason I auditioned for the part.

Last choir concert is coming up. The last one of my high school career, I'm organizing a barbershop quartet to sing at it as well, and I plan to sing an italian solo (I'm a bass for those who didn't know, so solo pieces are harder to come by) I won't particularly miss my jazz ensemble I sing with because I think about half the singers are exceptionally weak, and I can't stand the lack of sound onstage.

Health news, I've been having some minor palpitations and dizzy spells, I'm getting ready to schedule an appointment with the doctor. The bad knee is a constant problem as well, but none of these things hinder me from engaging in everyday life.

Games and leisure, getting better on the drums everyday, the drumset is my passion (along with writing and singing music) My main computer game right now is "Diablo II" but I have had extremely reduced amounts of time for playing it due to play practice, night math courses, and vocal lessons.

Math courses are no fun, and I am taking a 2 1/2 hour-a-night math class to get into college (The University of Oregon has already accepted me [Insert wo-hoo! here] but I need this math taken care of as a prerequisite. I guess that's it.

I'll probably think of 10,000 other things right as I update the site, but c'est la vie.

Music Update - I am putting the finishing touches on my newest jazzy song "Axe to Grind" and that will be uploaded onto the site soon. It will arrive at the site in congruence with my song "Offshore" and "Apathetic Fairy Tale."

I was cast in the role of Smee, the number one dude to Captain Hook in the High school's Production of Peter Pan today. I also disclocated my knee in PE yesterday playing old school hoops. It hurt like hell, as it always does. It dislocates because of a condition known as "Patellar Sublaxation" which simply means that my kneecap is a little more prone to sliding out of the socket than the average kneecap.

I am trying to get into the University of Oregon's music department, and so I have to fill out an application today. I don't want to miss that deadline. I have a voice lesson today with Paige English to practice my two audition pieces: "The Vagabond" and an Italian piece whose name eludes me. Am I excited? Not particularly, but nor am I nervous. I have been consistently onstage performing since my seventh grade year. That's five years of steady choir concerts, honor choir performances, plays, and musicals.

For some reason, I can't access my hotmail account, and therefore, I also cannot get onto MSN messenger, it's no big deal, but I am sure as hell frustrated.

I'm not sure who to ask to the winter ball. I want to go, but I'm not sure if I should ask the girl I like. The ball is expensive, plus I am not much of a playa', although to be totally honest, I don't think there is such thing. Guys think they know what girls want, and how to get what they want from girls, but they have noooo idea.

I'm a republican and proud to be the only member of my party who writes a web blog. Why am I a republican? Because democrats go too far. My fellow kin take things in stride, and are more laid back... Except for Michael Savage and Sean Hannity I guess.
