Su nombre es Alicia Dominguez. She is an eighteen year old girl who was born and raised in San Jose, Ca. Her sophomore year of high school, she was inspired by an english teacher to start a zine. {she appreciates it dearly!}
My Own Make Believe is her first ever zine, which she has four issues of. She also created a zine called
Call, If You Need Me. Alicia is the sixth of nine children that her mother and father created. The five older than her made her into Tia Alice, [or tia-alicia] sixteen times. This girl enjoys driving to Mexico, because she likes the scenary. Foreign [to her] places drive her into a happier and peaceful state of mind. Everywhere she goes she will meet someone new, because that's what she likes to do. Her favorite way to meet people is to just go up to someone and start a conversation. Colors are wonderful, she says. Doing volunteer work is something else she LOVES doing. She believes in change, and making a difference.

DEF CREW!!
Def Crew Distro opened January 23, 2005. It was started up because Lisa of Youre Insane, Honey distro, told me one night that she wanted to start up a distro to help spread the DIY culture/ community to San Jose. Samantha and I thought it was an awesome idea, so we ran with it. In March, We decided that it would be best to each have our own thing going on. It was to make it easier for all of us. No worries though, we don't hate eachother. ;]
