Welcome to Deeping Mad Mini's

Lord of the Rings in miniature by Daniel Mulholland. I have been painting Lord of the Rings miniatures for three years. I started out as a young man around 12 or 13 building and painting war planes and soldiers, I took a break from the hobby for a few years and started again in 2002 after the Lord of the Rings miniatures were released by Games Workshop. I live in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. Some of you Lord of the Rings fans might recognise that as where they filmed Isengard and Rivendell. Helms Deep and Minis Tirth were filmed 10 minutes drive down the road and there were many other scenes from the trilogy filmed close by. This web site is a way for me to share my miniatures with the rest of the modelling community, I would like to use the site to try and build a Lord of the Rings modelling and gaming club in my own home town of Upper Hutt, New Zealand.

Look around!

Please have a look around the site, Just click on the links in the Navigation bar to look at galleries of miniatures of each race found in middle earth.

This site is constantly under construction so check back often to see new pictures and here the lates news
