The Reunion

"Sora! Sora!" called Donald, frantically running forward towards the crossroads. "Don't do this Sora!"

"I have to! We have to split up! There are three ways here right? Three of us. If we split up we can cover them all, so staying together is not an option," Sora repled looking down each of the dark roadways.

"Our orders were to stay with the Keyblade Master, we have to go with you," argued Donald.

"Then your following the wrong person! Riku is the real Keyblade Master. Go back to him," Sora snapped.

"What's the point? King Mickey's with him now," Donald replied.

"Then stay here. But we have to split up if we're gonna find them," said Sora, starting to walk down one of the roads. Donald began to run after Sora but slammed into another one of those light barriers half way down. He screamed briefly as he fell back and then turned to Goofy, who had just catch up.

"What do we do?"asked Donald, watching Sora stride down the road and eventually disappear into the shadows.

"I guess we just have to follow his orders. We can't follow him anyways, so lets stick together and go down another road. We might meet up again on the other side," Goofy replied. "But I am worried about him. Gawrsh, I hope he's gonna be OK."

"Who cares? He's abandoned us. He's been acting weird ever since he read the Kings letter." Donald said bitterly.

"Wonder why he didn't want us reading it?"

"I dunno, but it doesn't matter. Come on, let's get going."

[5 years later]

The five years that had passed seemed to have gone on forever, but finally Donald and Goofy arrived at the end of the road. Both of them had slept rough every night and eaten whatever they had found, but now all that was over. They walked slowly along the top of the large hill and looked down onto the first town they had seen in five years. Large neon lights lit the streets and the tall buildings cast eerie shadows over everything. It was late evening and the streets were strangely quiet, almost ghostly. The road they had been following ran right into the heart of the town.

Tired and hungry, they set off down the road and entered the town. The air was very forbidding as they walked through the deserted streets, and it felt like eyes were watching them from every corner.

"Uh, d'you reckon Sora ended up here?" asked Goofy sticking close to Donald.

"Who knows, maybe. But we need to find somewhere to sleep before we start looking for him." replied Donald. They arrived at a large deserted square and stood in the middle looking around. All the shops seemed closed and no-where could they see a hotel. Standing at one end of the square was a very large building with huge video screens set near the top. All they displayed was white noise. Large gargoyles guarded the doorway and the doors themselves were bolted firmly shut.

"Where is everbody?" asked Goofy, his voice quaking slightly. Before Donald could reply a familiar darkness gripped their hearts.

All around, Shadow Heartless began appearing out of the ground. There were hundreds, all surrounding Donald and Goofy.

"It's been a while since we did this," joked Donald as he drew Save The Queen.

"Do you think we can do it, against that?" trembled Goofy taking out Save The King.

"Of course, just watch!" Donald sent a Thundaga spell right into the middle of the Heartless swarm. It didn't affect any of them.

"Uh-oh," Donald groaned. Suddenly another huge bolt of lightning struck into the middle of the Heartless. Dozens fell, and the rest looked around frightened. Donald and Goofy looked around to see where the spell had come from. Their eyes came to rest on a hooded figure behind them. He was smiling slightly under his hood.

"Wha? Did you do that?" quaked Goofy. The figure nodded and grinned slightly more.

"Who are you?" Donald demanded.

"That's an insult" the figure replied in voice that sounded very familiar.

"Sora?"

The figure grinned even more and stepped forward. The Heartless had begun to recover from their shock and started charging towards the three intuders. The hooded man shot random spells at the Heartless taking them out easily until only ten or so remained. They stayed well away and began circling their prey.

"Come with me" the hooded man said and gently touched the air in front of him. A dark portal appeared and he stepped through. Donald and Goofy hesitated a bit and turned to each other.

"D'you think that is Sora?" asked Goofy.

"Only one way to find out. Let's go,"replied Donald and stepped through the portal. Goofy looked hesitantly around again, and then followed the other two through. The protal closed neatly behind him.

Flash! Blinding white light surrounded them and suddenly they found themselves in another part of the derelict city. Large raindrops were starting to fall, and night was fast approaching. Standing in front of them was a small house, that reminded Donald of the little house in Traverse Towns third district. A small light could be seen swinging around near the window, but large, heavy curtains blocked the window.

"Where are we?" asked Donald.

"Sure is spooky here" Goofy whimpered. The hooded man laughed softly. And walked forward. When he reached the door he knocked four times with the large door knocker that was fixed to the front. The shape was very distinctive, but in the low light, Donald and Goofy couldn't quite make out what shape it actually was. After a slight pause, the door swung open, seemingly of it's own accord. Beyond it was a small room that appeared empty. The little light that they had seen swinging off the window cast an eeiry shadow across the door, but it picked out the shape of the knocker perfectly. It was a large black key.

The hooded man stepped aside and gestured with his arm for them to enter. He still had that half-grin on his face as they stepped through.

The room itself was small and unfurnished, apart from four piles of blankets, one in each corner. Standing just underneath the swinging light bulb was another man dressed in an identical coat. He flicked his hood up slightly and for a split second, Goofy swore he saw a glowing yellow eye. It was gone in an instant though, and he became unsure on whether he'd seen it at all. Then the man did the most curious thing. He reached up to his hood with a black piece of cloth and fussed around with it for a few seconds. Then he pulled his hood down fully. Long silver hair fell out and a large black blindfold covered his eyes. He too wore a small smile.

"Who are you?" demanded Donald again.

"Sorry" the man shrugged.

"For what?" Goofy asked.

"This" the first man said and smashed the flat side of two keyblades into Donald and Goofy's heads, knocking them unconcious.

[2 hours later]

Donald and Goofy woke at the exact same moment and found themselves still lying on the floor. The blindfolded man was still standing by the window, and the spell casting man was leaning up against the far right wall. After a brief pause, the Kings helpers remembered what had happened and jumped to their feet. Donald reached for Save The Queen, only to find that it wasn't there. Goofy did the same thing and found that Save The King had gone too.

"Huh? What have you done with our weapons?!" shouted Donald, directing his question at both men. All the blindfolded man did was laugh softly, and once again, they felt as if they knew him. The spell caster though stood up straight and looked straight at the pair in the doorway.

"You thought we'd let you in fully armed?" he asked.

"Who are you?" screamed Donald.

"That's an insult. Thought you'd remember the one who abandoned you" the man replied and lifted down his hood. Underneath was long silver-brown hair and deep blue eyes. He grinned slightly at the two newcomers.

"Sora?" asked Goofy.

"Yeah." he replied.

"Then who's?" Donald asked.

"You don't recognise me?" blindfold said.

"Riku?" asked Donald. Blindfold nodded. "But you were in Kingdom Hearts. How did you get out?"

Riku shot a dark glance at Sora.

"Long story" Sora said dismissively.

"But who opened the door just now? None of you could." asked Goofy, still perplexed.

"Me" came a small voice from the doorway. Another cloaked person walked out and pulled down their hood. It was unmistakably Kairi.

"Kairi? But how?" exclaimed Donald.

"Like Sora said, long story" she replied. Her voice was harsher than Donald remembered, and it had lost it's sweet and innocent tone. Now it sounded like the voice of a warrior.

"Hungry?" asked Riku.

"Yeah!" cried Goofy before Donald could stop him. Riku laughed slightly and left the room via another door that they hadn't noticed before. He reappeared after a few seconds with two plates of bread and butter.

"Eat up" he said as he handed them the plates. Goofy began to tuck in straight away, but Donald held back. 'What if they aren't Sora, Riku and Kairi?' he thought. But seeing that Goofy was coming to no harm eating the food, he decided to eat as well.

Whilst the two travellers ate, Sora began pacing up and down and Riku turned back towards the window. Kairi stood by the doorway with her eyes closed, seemingly in deep thought.

"You'll need your strength back up" said Sora, finally standing still. " Because we have a long journey ahead of us."

"Journey? What journey?" asked Donald.

Sora laughed quietly. "We have to go somewhere. 'We' meaning me Kairi and Riku. Sorry, but you can't come on this one. Only Keyblade masters can pass through."

"Then how come Kairi can go? She's not a Keyblade master?" Donald turned to Kairi for support, only to find that she was standing there with a long, golden Keyblade in her hand. The keychain dangling from the blade was in the shape of a heart.

"Wha? How did you get that?" Donald demanded.

"It came to me, on the day I left Destiny Islands again." she said simply.

"But this Keyblades very special." Riku put in. "Remeber how mine unlocked people's hearts? This one seals them. All three of us have had our hearts sealed aginst the heartless anyway, but it means that we can seal anyone elses who we need to."

"How have you sealed your hearts then?" Goofy asked, still with his mouth full.

"Mine was sealed when I broke free of Ansems control in Hollow Bastion. I had rejected the darkness in my heart and so, rejected him to try and save my friends." Riku replied.

"When I released Kairi's heart from my own with Riku's Keyblade, my heart became a heartless. But when Kairi protected me, I threw off the darkness and saw the true light, friendship." Sora explained.

"Being a princess of heart, mine was already half sealed. When Sora accepted the Oathkeeper keychain from me, our friendship was confirmed and my heart was fully sealed." Kairi finished.

:: Blindfolds fan-fic

This is a fan-fic that our member Blindfold did, it does contain a character that he invented, called Grave, so just keep that in mind when you read it!

                                       Shadows Of Darkness
Chapter 1
The Portal

"Light ... but why?" coughed Ansem.

The light of Kingdom Hearts had weakened Ansem, but his reign of terror was
not over yet. Suddenly a sword pierced through Ansem's chest, Soul Moon. Then
Grave appeared behind him.

"Grave!" exclaimed Sora.

"Sora hurry! Seal the door!Seal Kingdom Hearts forever!"snapped Grave.

"But what about you?"quizzed Sora in response.

"I'll take care of Ansem and end both his life and this madness." Anwsered
Grave.

"Let go of me!" Ansem yelled to Grave.

"Forget it! I'm taking you to the dark abyss... With me!" Growled Grave in
response.

"No you fool! Are you saying that you intened to kill us both!" Yelled Ansem.

"We don't belong to this world. I'm taking you back to hell with me. Farewell
Sora." Said Grave.

Then Grave's wings vanished and then Grave let both himself and Ansem fall
into the dark abyss all that was heard was Ansem's screams, and then an
explosion. Both of them had fallen. Soon Sora sealed Kingdom Hearts with King Mickeys
help. But however Riku and King Mickey were also sealed behind the door...

One year later...

Riku sat on a cold rock within Kingdom Hearts, both he and King Mickey had
been behind the door for about a year. Day after day they would slay more
Heartless that appeared yet.

"When do you think that we'll be able to escape from here?" Riku asked.
Mickey merely shrugged, they both wondered when they would be able to get out
of this eternal hell.

"How about right now?" Said a voice a strangely familar voice from behind
them both.

They both turned around to see who it was. Out of the darkness stood a figure with
a haunting silver eye, strands of hair covered covered his right eye.The
figure wore a long gray trench coat and wore a belt around his neck, black leather
straps across his chest, a strange belt that had a face that looked like a
mixture of both a dragon's face and a devil's in the center of it. The one who
took Ansem and himself into the dark abyss. It was Grave. Both Riku and Mikey
said his name and he merely nodded in response.

"Come on you two we can't stay here and chat all day long. Lets go." Said Grave.
Both of them followed while killing some Heartless along the way. Grave could
feel it. The portal. Grave the unlocked it and King Mickey went through, then
Riku but Grave did not. Riku yelled his name but soon the portal closed. Neo
Shadows were approaching Grave. He drew his sword, Soul Moon, and then ran forth to
destroy the Heartless, to make his own destiny, and also to meet his fate..

This is another one of Blindfolds fan-fics, and by the way the if the rest of you could keep writing and then send them to us we'll put them on here as soon as possible!

Chapter 2
Twilight Town

Grave cut and slash endlessly at the Heartless, not caring about the
destruction that he was causing. He leapt backwards.

"Destory! I summon you, Bahumet Zero!" Yelled Grave.

And with that Grave shot out a huge amount of energy blasts and smoke. As soon
as the smoke cleared a huge dragon appeared, and then destroyed a large number
of Heartless.Grave felt tired after using all that energy and power. He withdrew then
ran while slicing the Neo Shadows in half killng them in one slash of hhis sword.

Riku woke up. He was in a bed, his body felt numb and woke-up with a slight
jerk. He rubbed his temples, and tried to remember what happened. His thoughts
were then interrupted a high pitched voice. A voice that he knew well. It was King
Mickey.

"Huh? Mickey!" Exclaimed Riku.

"Yeah Riku, it seems that we're out of Kingdom Hearts." Replied Mickey.

"Where are we?" Quizzed Riku.

"We're in Twilight Town," anwsered Mickey.

"Wait a minute! Is Grave here too?" Asked Riku. Mickey merely shook his head.

"Damn it!" Muttered Riku.

Sora, Donald and Goofy ran along the path following Pluto. They had finally
reached the end of the long road. The road lead to Twilight Town.

"Garwsh, do you you think we'll find Riku and King Mickey?" Asked Goofy in a
curious tone.

"I don't know, but let's check it out!" Exclaimed Sora.

"Kairi." Thought Sora.

He missed her a lot, and also remembered the promise that he'd made her on coming back to her and to Destiny Islands. Not a day had passed when he had not thought of Riku and Kairi. He missed them both. It had been a whole year since he last saw either of them. He gripped the Keyblade; Kingdom Key. He, Donald and Goofy fought like raging demons. They didn't show any mercy to the Heartless casting spells and using phisical attacks. The battle was over in only a few minutes. Night-time came and Sora, Donald and Goofy were staying at a hotel in Twilight Town, they enjoyed being in the hotel, they soon went to sleep, after they had dinner, Sora ate the most out of the three.

Meanwhile, within the realm of Kingom Hearts, Grave continued his eternal battle with the Heartless.

"If I keep slicing them the have to die at some point!" Grave thought.

He had been fighting them for days, it seemed futile. He could feel it again, the portal. This was his only chance to escape from the realm of Kingdom Hearts...

:: Blindfolds Fan-fic

This is chapter 3 of Blindfolds Fan-fic.

Chapter 3

Escaping from Kingdom Hearts

The portal was near and Grave knew it.

"Damn." He thought.

The portal was about to open once again but the only question was would he be
able to get there in time? The Soul Lord himself didn’t know how close it was
but it might have been his last chance to escape from this damnation. Grave ran
forward cutting down all those who would be foolish enough to stand in his
way. He didn’t care on how many Heartless there were. Nothing would stop him
from escaping Kingdom Hearts not even his own death would stop him from escaping
and then he could resume his search for him...

Meanwhile in Twilight Town Riku and King Mickey were talking to each other
about things Mickey explained to Riku just exactly what the Dark Abbess was. Riku
seemed to listen with great curiosity on this. He wondered how Grave felt when
he fell into the Dark Abbess with Ansem. Riku could still remember when Ansem
had possessed him. In doing so Riku had abandoned his body because he knew that
he was powerless and could no longer fight against Ansem. He looked at his
hands and bit his lip wondered where Sora and Kairi were. He didn’t have any
answers to his questions as he pondered even more what had happened to them in the
last year or so.

"I hope that they’re okay." He thought.

Grave hacked and slashed endlessly destroying the thousands of Heartless that
opposed him. He felt the portal once again. It was closing!

"Damn it all to hell." He spat as he ran as quick as lightning as killing the
Heartless as merciless as death itself.

Normally he would use Soul Moon to summon unearthly creatures to quickly
finish of his opponents but it took a while before he summon once again. Just then
Soul Moon glowed blood red. Grave knew well what it was glowing for. He could
summon again but he needed the souls of the dead to power Soul Moon up in order
for him to summon a creature but the Heartless had no souls that he could use
to manipulate and also to summon then he saw it. The portal, it glowed a green
like colour and also had an aura of both the light and darkness themselves. But
it had nearly closed, he probably only had only a few seconds to get to it
again before it closed again. He cursed under his breath. Luckily there where no
Heartless to stop him. Grave leapt through the portal head first just as it was about
to close. Grave started to feel light headed at first but there was also an
intense pain in his head that grew more painful every second that passed. He didn’t
expect it to hurt so much. He screamed in agony at the pain itself for it
became too much for even one such as him to bear. He had not felt this much pain in
his head before in his entire life. Although he had experienced a lot more
worse pain but never had he felt it so much in his head. It was the second time
that he had felt this kind of pain. He could then see a white light shining
brightly the light itself would have almost been beautiful if it had not almost
burned his pale skin. But then he did not feel anything anymore as everything faded
to black.

He then woke up. He knew that he was in Twilight Town, he smirked at this. For
he knew that he had finally escaped from the realm of darkness where
the Heartless had been created in the first place, he was at long last free from the
realm of Kingdom Hearts.

:: Blindfolds Fan-fic

This is chapter four of Blindfolds fan-fic.

                                              Shadows of Darkness

Chapter 4

The Blindfolded Unknown

Sora woke up yawning quite loudly he looked at what time it was.

"9:30am. Oh boy I’m gonna go back to sleep." Sora said to himself. Then he
thought it out in his head once again.

"9:30 am! Damn it I’m gonna miss breakfast!" he yelled aloud. He quickly got
changed, dashed out of his room, slammed the door then slid down the banister
and landed on the carpet with a small thud noise he turned the corner to see
Donald and Goofy waiting for him.

"Where the heck have you been!?" Demanded Donald.

"Hehe, well I kinda slept in." Replied Sora quite stupidly.

"Ah never mind now, c’mon breakfast's ready." Donald spoke calming himself
down a little bit.

The trio had finished there breakfast and paid for the meal then walked
out. Just then Sora spotted a figure standing on top of a roof. The figure was clad
in black and had rather pale skin and also had silver hair and a black
blindfold covered his eyes. Sora thought that it could only be one person...

"Riku!" Shouted Sora.

"What!?" Yelled Donald.

"Guys let' s go!" Sora shouted as he looked behind him and also gestured
with his left arm.

But before Donald and Goofy could stop him he was already running after the
figure that he thought was Riku. They ran after Sora just incase he’d do
anything stupid. The blindfold man was just standing on the roof not caring he must
not have heard them but that was unknown.

Sora's thoughts were running threw his mind like crazy. Could this have really
been his best friend from one year ago that had been sealed within Kingdom
Hearts alongside King Mickey?

They had then reached the top of the building only to see that there was no
one there...

Meanwhile the Blindfolded Unknown walked through the shadows.

"Sora." He mumbled.

He wondered why he had ran away from his best friend but for now it was
unknown
even to himself. He took off the blindfold and looked at his hands and saw them
surrounded in a dark aura. This was the power of the darkness that he had
possessed by
one year ago. He tried to forget about it but it was futile. Riku knew that he
needed a weapon to protect his heart from both the darkness and the
Heartless. Then a blast of
light exploded in front of his very eyes. There was a weapon in his hand. The
Keyblade.

:: Blidfolds Fan-fic

This is chapter 5 of Blindfolds fan-fic.

                                              Shadows of Darkness

Chapter 5

The Eternal Darkness

Riku stared at his new weapon in wonder. The handle silver and the keyblade
itself were black and had blood red markings on it. The key chain had a fierce
dragon on it but Riku could sense the darkness within his weapon.

”Don’t get so overconfident Riku.” Said a strangely familiar voice behind him.

He quickly spun round and a cloaked figure. He made a small gesture with his
arm as if it were to follow him. Riku was confused but still he followed the
cloaked figure to dark alleyway. Then the cloaked figure stopped and then turned
around to Riku the hood was still up but he then lifted his left arm. Riku saw
what was on it. It was a large cylinder shape metal on the figure’s arm. It was
metallic black and also had an aquarium green gem on it and also had six small
golden circles on both the left and right side of it, Riku knew what the
metal cylinder shape was. It was Soul Moon. He gasped slightly and then the cloaked
figure took his hood down. He knew he face all too well .A face worn by his
destiny. Pale skin, almost as white as milk. Brown strands of hair covering the right
half the face and a silver eye. It was Grave.

”Grave how did you get out of Kingdom Hearts?!” The silver haired youth
demanded.

”I took the portal you idiot.” Grave coolly replied.

”But it closed!” Exclaimed Riku.

”It opened again you moron.” Grave said, in his tone still normal.

”Enough about that, allow me to tell you something.” He continued.

”I’m listening.” Riku answered.

Grave sighed at first and closed his eyes. The opened them again.

”You know of the Dark Abyss from King Mickey, well you see you already
submitted yourself to darkness and you were possessed by it. You see the darkness is
infinite. In other words you can’t runaway from it. It just keeps coming back to
haunt. There is darkness in all hearts even mine, yours Sora, and also Kairi
but you can manipulate raw darkness. It will destroy eventually but however you
must not let it consume you. That keyblade in your hand there has the power of
both dark and light. The light of the weapon protects your heart and others from
the darkness threatening to consume you. And the darkness of it can be used to
increase your powers and can be used against the Heartless. No matter how many
times you try to forget about the darkness you won’t be able to. It will
remain apart of your life forever. In other words what I mean is be careful when you
manipulate the darkness. Use that keyblade wisely and use it to protect those
close to you." Grave explained.

”So you’re saying not to use the darkness all the time right?” Riku asked.

Grave nodded in response and looked up at the sky. He grinned for a moment and
let Riku out of the alleyway. He made a gesture with his right arm once again,
telling Riku to follow him. Riku followed his former mentor to the top of a
roof; he stared at Grave for a second he then asked him what they doing
here. Grave turned round to him and smiled.

"A world without you."
