providing melbourne clubbers the only regular night for minimal house, glitchy tek funk and detroit techno. we aim to showcase all of the latest underground music in a cosy club enviroment, with the focus not only aimed at the dancefloor but also the listener. if you appreciate interesting and varied dj sets, or are aching to hear fresh sounds, deep chord is for you.

the guest dj's on the night will be Ash and Chris Thatcher. there's a possibility you may have seen Ash playing one of his sleek minimal house sets at trendy inner city clubs such as revolver or troika bar, but if not you can be sure his deep chord appearance will be ultra stylish. running a night called xs-state and playing regularly at e 55 Chris Thatcher will mix it up on the decks with a blend of reduced, funky minimal techhouse and colorful sonic textures.

the deep chord organisers would like to thank the efforts of everyone involved in the last party. Damien Laird and Matty Flynn were in fine form on the decks, and the dancefloor support from the crowd who stayed strong until the last tune was fantastic. it would seem that there's a lot of interest about the unique vibe of deep chord, so be sure to come along and see what all the fuss is about.
