The Virginia Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame Announces
An Exhibition of NASCAR Artist Garry Hill’s Artwork
The Virginia Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame is pleased to announce a showing of NASCAR artist Garry Hill’s artworks Saturday, October 20th from 11am – 6pm. As an artist working only with racing subjects, Garry has created painting s for the Motorsports community at the corporate level as well as for private collectors.
Currently he is publishing two very special limited edition fine art print series. “The Great Moments In Racing” series documents the history of NASCAR racing, and “The All Star” series focuses on the annual NASCAR NEXTEL All- Star Challenge races. Many of the prints are available autographed by the drivers including Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, Richard Petty, Bill Elliot, Dale Jarrett, Bobby and Davey Allison, Junior Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Newman and more. Car owner, promoter, driver, mechanic, media-photographer, family member, or devoted fan, their scrapbooks, photographs, schedules, entry blanks, bulletins, rules-policies, programs, newspaper articles, trophies, press kits, equipment and vehicles are being displayed, preserved and stored for all to enjoy. It is the hope of Virginia Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame that our attempt to document the early history of Virginia Motorsports will continue to grow for future generations.
