Virginia Motorsports Museum & Hall of Fame

 

On Friday, December 16th 2005 at 6:00 pm  , Danny Glad, owner /operator of Glad Precision Machine Incorporated and Lou Larosa, Instructor/Engine builder for Arrington racing will conduct a hands-on, question and answer demonstration comparing various engine components of street and racing engines.  The demonstration will also compare the past, present and future changes in engine technology.  Space is limited and you must call ahead if you plan to attend.  To register, please call Deborah Harbour, museum director at 276-694-5554.

On Friday, July 28th, 2006 at 7:00 pm in the Motorsports Museum, Danny Glad owner/operator of Glad Precision Machine Incorporated and Lou Larosa, Instructor/Engine builder for Arrington racing will conduct a high performance engine short block assembly seminar.  Question and answer session will follow.

On Friday, October 20, 2006 at 11:00 am The Virginia Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame will have a Dedication Ceremony.  Master of Ceremonies will be Harold E. SLate II "Chip", Chairman of the Motorsports Museum.  Guest speakers will include Delegate Ward Armstrong, House of Delegates Tenth District.  Congressman Rick Boucher, Virginia Congressman, U.S. House District 9 and Senator W. Roscoe Reynolds, Senate Twentieth District.  Open House until 5:00 p.m.      Light refreshments will be served.
