| The first photo is an Editorial from the American Statesman Editorial Board. It is about TX should swap chemical used in lethal injections.
Specifically pushing the TDCJ to drop the lethal injection that has been used for years and is still being used, that drug being, pancuronium bromide. This has been made ILLEGAL in the state of TX since Sept. 1st of 2003 by the TX Statues and Codes of Law. The entire Statutes and Codes pertaining to this law in here in it's entirety. It is 7 pages long.
Page 5 of the "TX Statutes And Codes" (which is seen circled in the file attachment) starts the section on the methods of Euthanasia on animals and states now that sodium pentobarbital or commercially compressed carbon monoxide is to be used to humanly put down animals; not what is being used now on death row inmates which is still pancuronium bromide.
The most important thing is to try and fight the the death penalty altogether, but having this information can help D.R. inmates attorneys to slow down and fight this Statute and code in claims filed upon it. This has been done before as some already know. But still TX is killing the inmates, a fight has to continue, and the TX court system needs to see what damage this is causing. This could very well go all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court if the TX courts refuse to acknowledge their own laws!
