Ritual of dedication to make a talisman effective:
To be really effective, a talisman, amulet, gri-gri or
even a simple medal must be devoted.
Begin by passing the talisman or other object through
the smoke of a pungent incense of your choosing.
While passing the object through the smoke,
generate and focus on thoughts of your objective
or desire, of which you wish to reach through the
power of the talisman, amulet, gri-gri or other
object you wish to employ and are now consecrating
for that determined purpose.
Repeat the following words aloud as you continue to
pass the object through the smoke:
"Seven spirits, carriers of the powers of the seventh
star, guardians of the seventh door, whose names
remain unspoken, I entreat you, in the
silence of your seven names, to grant me the whole
of my request and in this thing I beg your
attention and power that no wish be left unheard
and no sight go by unseen. In your care I lay my
trust that thus it may be done."

Disenchantment Spells and Rituals
Ritual of Disenchantment:
If you feel you have been the victim of bad fate, this
ritual is perfect to deliver you from the forces
of evil which may have invaded you. This ritual
lasts nine consecutive days. Begin one Tuesday
between midnight and one o'clock in the morning.
To carry out this ritual correctly you will need the
following ingredients:
-sharp, stimulating, even bitter incense
-two white candles
-one yellow candle
-four black candles
At a table, light the incense. Light the white candles
and place them on each side of the
incense. Light the yellow candle and put it at the
center, nearer you. Place the black candles
around the yellow candle and light them with a
different source than the preceding candles.
Fixate upon their malignant light and try to
visualize the forces of the evil which has
disturbed you.
Call upon the power of the guardian of the universe
aloud while saying:
Guardian, angel of the stars,
I call upon you, grand protective angel,
to help me, to defend me.
I am without defense from this rancorous attack,
directed against all the levels by its being,
combatant of the right causes against the evil,
and malicious of the guard without defenses.
I implore you, utilize your force to destroy and cut down this evil,
to purge it thanks to your crowned fire and purifier,
to clean this iniquity,
in the name of the one who is all, Thus is it!
Extinguish the candles. Every night, just after
midnight, for the next eight nights, repeat this
ritual. The evil will be vanquished.
Ritual of Disenchantment 2:
If you feel you have been the victim of an evil
enchantment, this ritual is perfect to deliver you
from the forces of the evil invasion. This
ritual takes approximately nine consecutive days.
Begin on a Tuesday night, right before midnight.
To carry out this ritual correctly and effectively,
you will need the following ingredients:
Three beeswax candles
Incense (Frankincense works well)
Place the incense in a burner of your choosing. Light
the incense and place it on a flat surface. Light
each candle and place them surrounding the
incense, so as to form a triangle.

Visualize the forces of the evil which disturb you.
Call upon the spirit Samael aloud by saying:
Lord Samael, spirit of the planet Mars,
I call upon you, protective spirit,
to help me--to defend me.
Being without defense against this malevolent attack,
I entreat you, combatant of the right causes,
guardian of the defenseless,
to lift your hand against this evil and malicious
presence.
Utilize your mighty force to destroy and cut down this
evil.
Purge it by your fire, to purify and clean this
iniquity,
That it may no longer wield its wicked influence.
This I ask, in confidence that it shall be done,
By your presence,
By your will,
As I ask, so let it be done!
This should be repeated for nine consecutive nights so
that the enchantment might be banished.

To attract the love of a certain person-
You will need:
- Any particle from the body of your love (hair,
nails, blood, etc)
- Any particle from your body
- A red ribbon
Instructions:
Take a particle of the body of your love, add
corresponding particles of your own body, wrap
them together in a red ribbon on which you will
have written your two names with the blood of you
or your love.
Tie the ribbon to join the names.
Carry this package for three days under your armpit
and then burn it.
To attract the love of a certain person-
You will need:
- Spring water
- A bottle or glass
- A fresh drink (soft drink, tea, coffee, fruit juice,
etc)
Instructions:
Expose, during three nights of full moon, the bottle
or glass containing the spring water to the light
of the moon.
Between each moon, hide this bottle in an obscure
place.
After these three exposures, mix this water, charged
with the lunar rays, with a fresh drink
that you will offer to the person whom you wish to
be your love.
To attract the love of a certain person-
You will need:
- Three hairs of the person you desire
- Three of your hairs
- A length of red wool yarn
- Three bay leaves
- A few grams of Vervain
Instructions:
Bind the three hairs of your love, with the three of
your own hairs, with the length of red wool yarn
while pronouncing the following words:
Rue Sanctus spiritus reins nostros and horn nostrum
Dominates
Hide the whole in a place attended by the person whom
you want to see falling in love with you or, if
that is impossible, burn the hair with the bay
leaves and Vervain on a Friday night, with a clear
moon, all while concentrating on your desire.
Protection
Spells and Rituals for Protection Ritual To Receive The Protection Of The Moon: Place a jewel, that you regularly carry on you, in a cup of spring water a day before the full moon. The following day, on the evening of full moon, stir the water three times with your finger in a clockwise motion. Take the cup in your hands and in a clockwise, stirring motion, move the cup in a clockwise, circular, stirring motion three times. Then, repeat these words aloud: O LIGHT OF THE MOON, WRAP ME, PROTECT ME, KEEP ME FROM HARM. Raise the cup towards the sky and drink the water. Remove the jewel from the cup. You must carry it on your person to the next full moon in order to ensure your protection. Repeat this ritual every month to benefit from its influence. A Spell of Protection: You will need a small, black, cotton pouch or sachet-preferably with a drawstring tie. On a Saturday evening, during the waning moon, you should draw a pentagram in black ink (India ink works best) on a small piece of parchment. Roll the parchment and place it in the bag. Next, you should place in the pouch the following ingredients: a small clear crystal a full pinch of sage a full pinch of wormwood a small piece of lead (a lead fishing sinker will work) a strand of your hair Tie the bag using three knots. Carry the bag with you for protection. Spell Against Night Terrors: Now and again almost everyone is woken suddenly from nameless, faceless night terrors. For some, the problem can be more frequent and severe and they may need to seek professional help. But for most, the following spell can be of great assistance in alleviating the frequency of occurrence and the severity. Sit on the edge of your bed with your feet dangling from the side or better yet, firmly planted on the floor. Light a Frankincense incense or warm some Frankincense oil for its claming effects. Relax. Try to breathe regularly and at a normal rate. Before attempting to go back to sleep, visualize the walls acting as a protective barrier and repeat the following incantation softly to yourself: Haunting terrors of the night, Be gone and let me be, Till the dawning of the light, Bright moon watch over me. Extinguish the incense or any sources of heat of flame prior to retiring. House Blessing: You will need: Salt & Water Incense Milk & Honey Oil Wine Bells, Pots, Pans, Whistles, etc. Cast a circle in the main room and after casting, visualize the circle expanding to include the entire house. Call upon the spirits and energies living in the house (or apartment). Invite those who will be harmonious with the new household and its energies to remain. Invite/ask those who will be happier elsewhere to depart. Release all "energies" not compatible with the new household. Note: This may be expressed as a "release" in order to unbind anything that may be stuck. Then call upon, greet, and invite ancestors, patron deities, and all harmonious spirits and energies to dwell in the house as they please. Gather up the pots, pans, and all the noise-makers. Go to each door and window, not forgetting the fire-place and dog-door, making as much racket as humanly possible--to drive out the unwanted. Go again throughout the house and at each portal (door, window, etc.) sprinkle salt-water and incense, saying: "By the Elements I purify and charge this portal." Then anoint the portal with milk and honey, saying: "By Milk and Honey I ensure prosperity and peace within this place." Finally, anoint the portal with oil, saying: "With Oil I seal this portal and protect all within." At the front door a special prayer is said, asking the guardian deities to freely grant entry to all friends and loved ones, and to prevent passage (turn aside) to any who would do harm." Then, if it's a house--pour wine across the width of the threshold; if it's an apartment anoint the threshold with light touches of wine. The house-holders then each take a sip of wine, leaving some as an offering to the Gods, and the Circle should be closed. The remaining wine, milk, and honey should be offered to the Gods which can be accomplished by pouring over the ground. Three Red Leaves Spell: Autumn is the ideal time for this spell. Begin by gathering 3 red leaves from any plant, bush or tree. Lay the leaves on a flat surface to form a triangle. In the center of the triangle of leaves, place a lighted candle. On each leaf, place a few drops of chrysanthemum oil. Speak aloud the following words three times: Red leaves, gift from earth, Birth to death and death to birth, Keep all evil far away, Day to night and night to day. When you have spoken the words three times, extinguish the candle and wrap the leaves in a white cloth or place them in a white pouch. Place the packet under your mattress or near your bed within three feet of your head for protection against nightmares and invasions of evil.
healing spells
All heal Spell
An easy to do All Heal Spell ... to aid in the healing
of all conditions, or to soothe the symptoms of
serious illness. I used this to rid the recurence
of depression and whenever I get a bad case of strep.
Items needed:
~2 Bowls warm water
Bless or empower the water as you see fit... I just
pray to the God and Goddess and ask them to aid me
in my healing, then I send as much personal
nergy as I can into the water. Lie upon the bare
earth (if not possible, floor is OK). Have each
hand in a separate bowl of warm water, arms stretched out to the sides. Visualize roots sprouting from the base of your spine, going down into the earth. Breath deeply, and with each deep, slow inhalation, feel the roots burrow deeper into the earth. see a bright light at the center...see your roots penetrate it... now with each slow, deep breath, draw up the energy from this light
into you.
See two streams of light begin to come from the sky,
one stream into each bowl...feel the love of the God
fill the bowl to your left, feel the love of the
Goddess fill the bowl to the right
. Draw this love from the bows into your body
through
your hands. Collect the love energy from the bows and
the energy from the earth into your heart, where your
most personal energy is kept. Build all the energy
here...until you can contain it no more.
When you can no longer contain the energy in your
heart, release the energy to flood your entire body,
and shout as loud as you can “HEAL ME!!!” at the same
time as the release.
Continue to draw the energy for a while, letting it
flow through your body, and spilling onto the
ground...relax, and enjoy the peace that will settle
over you.
After you have relaxed for a while, draw up your roots
into your body, remove your hands from the water,
and
sit up. Take a sip from the bowl to your left, and
thank the God for his love, then spill it at the base
of a tree. Then take a sip from the bowl at your
right, and thank the goddess for her love, then
spill
it upon the same tree. In the future, care for this
tree...it has been blessed by the love of the gods
(the water) and it will aid you in your health.

This spell can be performed to ease the pain of a
broken relationship, divorce, death of a loved one
or other painful circumstance and to build and
renew a sense of hope in the future.
The ingredients you will need are:
One Black Candle
3 Pieces of Amethyst
Vetivert Oil
One White Candle
3 Pieces of Rose Quartz
Lotus Oil
At Sunset on the night of the Full Moon, take the
Black Candle and inscribe with a short description
of your problem, i.e. divorce, break-up, death,
etc. Annoint the Candle with Vetivert oil
and charge it. Set the candle in a holder on
your altar. Take the three pieces of amethyst and
hold in your hand. Visualize your pain and pour it
into the stones. Place the stones in a circle
around the base of the candle holder and light the
candle. Visualize the pain leaving you. Allow
the candle to burn down one third of the way and
then extinguish. Take one of the pieces of
amethyst outside. Hold it into your hand and again
see and feel your pain transferring to the stone.
Then take the stone and throw it from you with all
your might. Never take this stone up again.
Repeat this spell for the next two nights, until
the candle has completely burned down, and the
amethyst stones are gone. Take any remaining wax
from the candle and bury off of your property.
At Sunrise on the morning of the New Moon, take the
White Candle and inscribe with the word "hope".
Annoint the candle with Lotus oil and charge it.
Set the candle in a holder on your altar. Take the
three pieces of rose quartz and hold in your hand.
Visualize a positive future for yourself.
See yourself living, laughing, and enjoying
life.
Place the stones in a circle around the
base of the candle holder and light the candle.
Visualize and feel a strong sense of hope and
expectancy coming to you. Allow the candle to
burn down one third of the way and then
extinguish. Repeat this spell for the next two
nights, until the candle has completely burned
down. Take the rose quartz pieces and place one in
your purse, pocket, medicine bag, or amulet to
be carried with you. Place another by a window
sill in a sunny room. Take the last piece and bury
it by a tree in your yard as an offering. If you
don't have a yard, you may bury it in a flower pot
or plant in your home or place outside the
entrance of your home.
Be patient...it takes time for pain to come to an end,
but this spell will set you well on your way.
Circle Casting
Basic outline for Circle Casting:
Purification:
This can be achieved in different
ways. The preferred way (in my opinion) is the
ritual bath. Before you work your magic or ritual
or spell, take a magical bath.
Light candles and incense that correspond with your
working (you can refer to the Table of
Correspondences or go by your own), turn off all
lights-only use candlelight for this bath. Fill
your tub with warm water, and add any oils or
herbs (put herbs in a muslin bag, so you don’t
clog your drain) appropriate to the working or you
can just stick with purifying herbs such as
sage, rosemary, lemon, and eucalyptus. Once the
tub is filled, use your power hand (your right one
if you are right handed) or your athame, and
charge the water. Envision it infused and sparking with white-blue power. You may wish to say
an invocation to the God/dess. Use your own words-
from the heart- they are the most powerful.
Onceyour water is charged, get in the tub and
Completely submerge yourself. Then stay in the
tub for a minimum of 15 minutes. While you soak,
think on the rite you will be performing, envision
all tensions and worries of the day being
washed away. You are engulfed in the womb of the
Goddess where you will be blessed, cleansed, and
purified. When you are finished, pull the drain,
but remain in the tub until all water has gone down the drain. As the water goes down the drain,
know that all negativity has been released from you
and has gone down the drain with the water. You
emerge renewed and clean of spirit, ready to meet
the elements and the Goddess and God. I recommend
that all of you perform this rite at
home before coming to circle on the Sabbats.
Another form of purification is smudging and
anointing. Generally sage is used for smudging,
but any incense made for the purpose can also be
used. The smoke is waved or fanned (I use a
feather fan I made for this purpose) around the
person being purified. What you are doing here is
cleansing the aura. Smudging is also used for
cleansing of a space, whether it be a room, home,
or circle space. I have also used it
outside for purification of an area. One
interesting thought I read is this-when you are
cleansing or banishing negativity; move
widdershins (counter-clockwise) as this is the
direction of decrease. When smudging a person, you
work from the feet up to the head. When you enter
circle, you can be anointed with oil or water for
purifiaction also.
These purification techniques can be used any time you
need them, not just before casting
circle.
Purifying and Consecrating the Elements:
When you are ready to cast a circle, set up your altar with
representation of the Goddess and God, your
working tools, and items you will need for your
magic or rite. Use you athame or power hand to
consecrate the elements. Meditate for a few
moments on the work at hand, ground and center.
Start in the east. Light the incense. As the smoke
billows upward, draw an invoking pentagram in the
smoke and say: “ I purify and consecrate this
creature of air. May all good enter herein in the
names of the Goddess and God.”
In the south light a red candle. Draw and invoking
pentagram over the candle flame and say: “ I
purify and consecrate this creature of fire. May
all good enter herein in the names of the Goddess
and God.”
In the west, draw an invoking pentagram over your
Container of water (this could be the chalice,
cauldron, bowl or abalone shell) say: “ I purify
and consecrate this creature of water. May all
good enter herein in the names of the Goddess and
God.”
In the north draw an invoking pentagram over the dish
of salt and say: “ I purify and consecrate
this creature of earth. May all good enter herein
in the names of the Goddess and God.”
In the center of the altar light the white spirit
candle. Invoking pentagram of the
spirit. “Blessings of the great spirit be upon
us. Guardians of spirit, I ask you blessings upon
this rite.
Return your athame to the altar.
In each instance, when you are drawing the invoking
pentagram over the element, visualize it being
infused with divine light from the source of all.
Purifying and Consecrating the Circle
East-lift up the censer from the altar, and salute the
east. Hold the censer in front of you and
walk slowly deosil around the circle. You could
also use feathers or a fan to represent the east.
Envision the qualities of the east-gentle breezes,
birds singing, etc as you walk and say, “
I purify and consecrate this sacred circle with
the element of air. I surround us with the powers
of insight and inspiration, laughter and
wonder. Let the creatures of air encircle us with
clarity and imagination.” When you return to
the east salute the east and replace the censer
on the altar.
South- picks up the red candle and from the altar and
salutes the east. As you walk deiosil, visualize
a candle flame springing up from your footsteps
and see the circle ringed with dancing fire.
Think of the heat of the sun on a hot summer day and
really feel it. Say: “With the flaming power of
fire I purify and consecrate this sacred circle.
I surround us with its powers of passion and
determination, courage and energy. Let the
creatures of fire encircle us with will and
enthusiasm.” As you come back to the altar, salute
the east and replace the red candle upon
the altar.
West- pick up the chalice of water and salute the
east. Walk deosil around the circle. Sprinkling
the water as you walk, visualizing streams and
rivers flowing from your footsteps. Remember how
rain feels upon your face, or swimming in cool
water. As you walk say, “ I purify and consecrate
this circle with the element of water. I surround
us with its powers of love and compassion,
dreaming and delighting. Let the creatures of
water encircle us with joy and feeling.” As you
come back to the altar, salute the east and
replace the chalice of water upon the altar.
North- pick up the dish of salt from the altar and
salute the east. Sprinkle the salt as you walk
deosil around the circle. Imagine fields and
grains and mountains springing up from your
footsteps. Feel the strength of your body and
say: “ With the powers of earth I purify and
consecrate this circle. I surround us with the
powers of fertility and creativity, strength and
nurturing. Let the creatures of earth encircle us
with power and patience. “ As you come back to
the altar, salute the east and replace the dish
of salt upon the altar.
Casting of the Circle:
The circle can be cast using the athame, wand, sword
or hand, by the High Priestess or by the coveneor
that is leading the rite. Begin in the
east, salute the east, and slowly walk around the
perimeter of the circle. As you walk, visualize a
circle of blue and white flame flowing from the
tip of your wand or athame or hand, and feel the
energy rising form the earth and flowing through
you to shape the circle. I use a three-time pass
as I do this.
First pass-visualize the perimeter of the circle
Second pass- visualize the top half of the sphere
Third pass- visualize the bottom half of the sphere
After the third pass, stand before the altar
and visualize your completed sphere (circle)
and say: “I conjure this circle as a sacred
space, a place between worlds and out of time. I
conjure this circle as a boundary and a protection
to preserve and contain all energies that will be
raised herin. I conjure this circle in perfect
love and perfect trust. So mote it be!
levitation spells
LIGHT AS A FEATHER
Components Required
- You need 4 candles
(yellow or white do not mix colors)
- You need a quiet place to begin.
- You need a down feather ( The smaller the better)
First you must place the candles in a circle one in
each direction.
Perform a cleansing ritual and center yourself.
Hold the feather in your non dominate hand (left if
you are right handed, right if you are left
handed).
Feel it's life force its gift of lightness. light the
candles. Start in the East and work Sun-wise
(clockwise).
Enter the Circle and sit in a comfortable position.
Facing the north. Now, you must chant the
following 9 times:
In the light I see, In the dark I am blind. In the
world I walk, In the circle I fly.
Next call to your spirit guide or God to aid you.
Then clear your mind the feel the feather float in
your open hand and lift with it and now you
levitate.

LIFT TO THE LIGHT
Components Required
- You need a rod or staff
- You need a place YOU can focus best in
- You need a Crystal (white quartz or obsidian)
First perform a cleansing ritual. place the crystal on
the ground in front of you.
Hold the staff or rod out in front of you
horizontally. Recite the following spell.
As stone is to earth
So staff is to stone.
Death and rebirth
Heart and bone.
May light fly, I call away stone.
I summon you sky. Call me on.
visualize as you see fit the pushing and pulling. And
now you levitate.

BE INVISIBLE SPELL
chant nine times,
bright light,
dark night,
cloak me in light
as dark as night.
this is especially useful at night time if you don't
want to be seen.
SPELL FOR INVISIBILITY
1 part Fern leaf, dried
1 part poppy seed
2 parts slippery elm powder
1 part Myrrh
1 part Marjoram, dried
3 parts Dillweed, fresh if possible
Grind all together, mix well. Add 9 drops almond
extract, w/ enough spring water to make
everything barely moist. place in ceramic bowl spread
thinly as possible and dry the mixture
over low heat, stir occasionally until lightly
browned. Grind again chanting:
Things seen, and things not seen,
Let me walk here between.
When finely powdered store in glass container. it will
keep for years.
Sprinkle A little bit on yourself, objects or in a
place to be made invisible.
INVISIBILITY
if you follow this formula, you will become invisible
in that people will not notice you are there,
they will look right through you. Relax and become
conscious of your body. Feel your skin.
Relax, and feel the light hitting your skin, a rain of warmth.
Chant:
Light pass through me and around me
Nobody can see me.
Feel the light start to pass around and then through
you until you dont feel it anymore.
INVISIBLE SHIELDING
This is a good technique to use when you want to
quietly fade into the background, such as
when you have to walk through a group of cat-calling
yobs, or you're at work and the boss is
on the warpath and looking for someone to pick on. I
used to practice it on the tram on the
way to work, until I began to notice that the
conductors weren't selling me tickets. I'd be
sitting
there holding my money out and they'd walk right past
me! It's a simple procedure. Ground and
centre yourself. Start with creating a shield, with
whatever technique you find most comfortable.
Then visualise that the shield is a little bit fuzzy, so you seem a bit blurry to anyone watching.
Gradually blur the shield, and begin to blend it, and
yourself, into the colours and shapes of
your surroundings. It's a bit hard to explain, but
it's like visualising yourself as changing colour
to suit your surroundings like a chameleon. The shield
acts like a veil which makes you less
visible because you don't stand out from your
surroundings as much. If you normally like a
mirrored shield, you can make it bounce back light so
it mirrors your surroundings visually.
