Death-By-Digital Metallica Collection

ALL METALLICA!!!

WHAT IS ON THIS PAGE???

This page is dedicated to all of those odd items that exist in this world!   I like finding copies of items that are mis-pressed, unofficial, not completed, or just plain odd.

This is also currently my section for hosting all of my singles that did not go on albums, as well as tribute and sampler albums.

I currently have a few items that I find "interesting", but I am aware that many more the exist.  If you have something that you think goes in this category, and you have it for sale, send away!

Interview Items

As many of you know interviews will often be taped and placed on Vinyl and CD for sale.  some of the time these items will be sold as "rare" or "import", but 90 percent of the time they are un-official and illegal.  Due to them being Un-official they are often not that rare, and pretty cheap.  Here is the section on some of those items, and whether I think it is a bootleg or a official release endorsed by the band next to it.  If you feel as if I have mis-labled something, or have more information on an item, please let me know! Right now I am pretty interested in these, so if you have one that I don`t have cheap, let me know!

"Best Of Metallica"

As Many of these Exist in Pirate form, I thought I would attempt to get some of them.  Only one so far, and more to follow.  None of these are legit~!

CD

"The Best Of...... Metallica"
Company?, Germany?, M006, 2006?, -13 track CD, with photos post St. Anger.

MP3 CD's

Some companies have released Metallica albums in MP3 so they can include more than one album on a single disc.  I am not actively seeking these items, but if you have some cheap, drop me a line.

"1998-2000" AGC, Russia, 200?, CD2 - Contains Garage Inc/S&M/and the first three Apocalyptica albums. This is CD2, and I believe it is a 3 CD set.

Tribute Albums

There are so many Tribute to Metallica albums.  99 Percent of the time it is from a company that wants to make money on the Metallica name, and the other 1 percent, it is actually someone paying tribute to them.  These CD's are NOT rare, and they MASS produced.  Don't get suckered into buying them for lots!  Some of them are pretty cool though.  I only have a few.

"A Metal Tribute to Metallica"
Deadline Music, 2000, USA, CLP 0887-2 - 13 tracks, mainly unknown bands, but a cool Version of Eye of the Beholder by "In flames" :)

"An Industrial Tribute to Metallica: The Blackest album"
Cleopatra Records, 1998, USA, CLP0323-2 13 Tracks- This is what I like to call "garbage" :)  just not my bag.  I think about 3 more sequals to this exist, most likely equally as bad, save your money!

"An Industrial Tribute to Metallica: The Blackest album 2"
Cleopatra Records, 2000, USA, CLP 0788-2- Same as above, a bad industrial tribute.

"Die Krupps: A Tribute to Metallica"
OurChoice Records, 1992, Germany?, RTD 195 - 5 track  Industrial album- pretty cool actually :)

"Overload: a Tribute To Metallica"
Dwell Records, 1998, USA, CD-1012 - 12 tracks, typical covers.. the only good thing is the cover... a bunch of toilets lined up like the crosses from puppets with a Spear coming out of one like "Metal up your a**"
- Pretty funny:)

"Overload 2: A Tribute to Metallica"
Dwell Records, 2001, USA, cd1042- 12 Tracks, just like the first one, not worth your cash:)

"Dream Theater: Official Bootleg: Master Of Puppets"
Ytsejamrecords, 2003, USA, YTSEJAM006 -
**NOTES**The whole album played live.  THIS IS A TRIBUTE ALBUM :)  the best I have ever heard a band do this! - They also have a version of Battary played on a DVD.

"Apocalyptica: Plays Metallica by four Chellos"
Mercury, 1996, Canada, 532 707-2 -
**NOTES**a great group who then went on to do several other Albums, one cover album with many metal bands (more metallica), and then 3 of their own including an album with Dave Lombardo of Slayer :)

"Between the Buried and Me: The Anatomy of"
Victory Records, 2006, USA, VR297
** Their album of Cover songs.  They do a BAD ASS cover of "Blackened".  They also cover Pink Floyd, Sepultura, Pantera, and Queen... just to
name a few :)

Featuring Metallica

Here is a list of a lot of my items that feature Metallica in some way.

CD'S

Metal Massacre Compilation
This compilation features Metallica's "Hit The Lights Demo" with Ron and Dave Very cool to hear James sing so young!

Mission Impossible II: The Soundtrack

South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut

METALLICA SIGNS

These are simply unofficial signs that some companies have made.  I currently have three.  I will have these pictures up as soon as possible.  If you have any let me know, especially if you don't want it anymore.   The three I have are "Metallica Drive"-which is a street sign, "Metallica Parking Only"-which is a parking sign, and finally "Metallica"-which is simply a licence plate.  All just fun items... always looking for more.   I know of a plug in bar sign, but the shipping on that item is always twice the price of the actual item!

AND JUSTICE UNCUT ITEM

ere is a copy of ...And Justice For All LP that is uncut... It currently belongs to Aaron Dawe, a fellow collector from Canada.  As of yet, this is the only copy of this in the world.
