Renaissance and Celtic Faires
Maryland Renaissance Faire Here's a link for the faire in Crownsville, Maryland. Check out the links for photos and entertainment. If you ever get to go to this faire, it's definately worth the trip! They have a permanent site set up with castle walls, little huts, and even a large jousting area! It's so large that it took us 3 hours to walk the entire thing the first time (stopping for a min or two to look at the shops), we timed it. Is over for the 2003 year, but will return next August through October. Weapons are not allowed at this faire.

Cormak's "Jareth Owl" drawing
Labyrinth Links
Cormak's Jareth & Sarah Page Corrie's got more stories than I have posted here, plus fan artwork, some beautiful drawings of her own, and even a chat room. If you like to read Labyrinth stories, check this site out.
Marysia's Labyrinth within the Labyrinth I haven't spent that much time on this site, however I already know it is another awesome site for Labyrinth fans. Marysia has over 1500 stories- over 900 of them are finished! She also has fan art, links to other Labyrinth sites, and more.
Fanfiction.net This entire site is Fanfiction. Search for Labyrinth, or almost any other movie, book, or t.v. show and find stories to read. Also a great (free!) place to post your own work.
World of Froud Froud's actual site.
Early Labyrinth Script Not for the movie, but before that...This is more the conceptual part of the story.
Labyrinth Film Closed Captions DVD player broken? Worn out your old VHS? Well, "watch" the entire film here... by reading the captions.
AdultFanfiction.net Warning! This site is not for everyone. Like fanfiction.net you can find fanfic stories for different movies, tv shows, ext, but these are all rated "Darkfic, Hard R or NC-17." This site was made as a protest to other sites removing the "NC-17" rated stories from their lists. I'll be frank: every once in a while you can find a decent story here (maybe even 'good'), but for the most part, they're just kind of... um...

Underworld- Finally here!
Other LInks
Underworld Movie Site Opened September 19, 2003. If you like Anne Rice's vampire stories, the Dracula movies, or even Vampire; The Masquerade, check this site out and see this movie! I just checked out their main site and IT LOOKS AWESOME! It takes a little bit of time to download between scenes, but it's worth it. **EDIT: Due to the hurricane (and theater's lack of power), I couldn't see the movie opening night, but I just saw it Saturday (Sept. 20th) and it kicks ass! Can't wait to go back and see it again. There are a lot of names they throw at you from the start, so pay attention if you go see it. (Also- dress up goth or black leather.. so much more fun!) I've also read that they're already planning a sequel!** **EDIT: Check out my new site- Realm of the Underworld.**
Museum Replicas Ahhh... the edged weapon enthusiast's dream. This lovely site has museum-quality reproductions (read: high-carbon steel, not that pakistani crap) of actual, centuries-old weapons: swords, rapiers, daggers, knives, stilettos, battle axes, bec-de-corbin, maces, and various other (less well known) objects. They also carry suits of armour, chainmail pieces, clothes, costumes and jewelry. A must visit website!

This is my sword; a beautiful swept-hilt, high-carbon steel rapier with a polished bone grip. Popular in the 1500s and 1600s. 43" long total, blade 38" long, 7/8" wide. Only 2 1/8 lbs. From Museum Replicas. (Original pic from MR, I made the gif and added "light.")
The Copper Dragon: Just in case you missed all the other links to here on my site. *grin* This is my business, my baby. Here you can have copper jewelry or a stuffed dragons made the way you want! Pick a design and shape for jewelry, and if you're interested in a dragon, you pick the design or color, one of over 30 pairs of eyes, wether or not you want your critter to have horns and a beard or not... You fully customize him. I just make him (or her).
R. Wayt Smith's Fantasy Art I came across this artist's booth at the Maryland faire (above) and immediately loved his work. Fantasy work is mainly what he does- dragons, elves, pirates, winged tigers horses and unicorns, people, mermaids, ext. We bought about 7 matted prints here.
The Friesian Connection A family in Dorr, Michigan raises and breeds and studs their beautiful friesian horses. Most of the horse pictures I've posted on my site originate from here.
The Feathered Horse A division of Friesian Connection. Click here and order a catalog full of horse clothes, prints, jewelry, and other things. Lots of beautiful horse pictures. |
