The Dearborn Area Theatre Association (or DATA) is an organization founded for the purpose of supporting and encouraging community and scholastic theatre.  At the end of each theatre season, awards for recognition in artistic achievement and excellence are given within the membership.

The PAGE (Press & Guide Entertainment) Awards: This annual awards show takes place during the month of May, after the theatre season is over.  Along with the help of those at the Press & Guide Newspaper, the awards recognize those participating in both scholastic and adult member theatre organizations.  Throughout the season, each member theatre group is to send a representative, knowledgeable in theatre, to adjudicate the theatre productions of other member theatres, and then turn in a properly scored DATA adjudication form within one week of seeing the performance.  The forms which are tallied throughout the season are then averaged together and the nominee with the highest point average in each category  will be announced as the winner of that award for the year.  Categories range from Best Lead Actress in a Musical to Best Overall Achievement in Set Design.  Theatre seasons run from May 1st to April 30th.

Hall of Fame: This award recognizes an individual whose continuing efforts, special achievements and significant involvement has made an impact on theatre in the Dearborn / Dearborn Heights community.  All nominations for the Hall of Fame are due no later than April 1st.

DATA Theatre Scholarships: The DATA board is ready to award two more scholarships!  Get the application here.  Applications need to be mailed in by February 8th.
