Deadman Creek

Dissolved Oxygen

Dissolved oxygen also known as DO is a measurement of how much oxygen is dissolved into the water. This can change due to the amount of bacteria in the water or the amount of dead vegetation in the water source. The more bacteria the less DO because the bacteria use up the oxygen. the more vegetation the more DO because as the leaves and other vegetation break down they create more oxygen that dissolves into the creek.

pH

pH is a measurement of whether the liquid is an acid, base, or neutral. Our water's pH is usually around 7. Which is fairly neutral.
