Ever since she was a little girl, it had always been 18-year-old Emi Toshiba’s dream to become a professional dancer, so when one day she sees a flyer on her old friend Rage’s liquor store’s window announcing a dance contest, she sees it as an opportunity to finally realize her lifelong dream and become known.

Now this isn't any dance contest! The participants have to make their own choreography and perform it... on a dancing simulating game known as Dance Dance Revolution.

But few things in life are easy, and something as seemingly simply and innocent as a dance competition becomes a place where her and her dancing partner, Rage, will meet some new friends, bitter rivals, and face conflicts that will test Rage’s and Emi’s will to fulfill their dreams. Join Rage, Emi and their newfound friends as they gradually become aware that not everything is as it seems in the contest, as something -- or someone -- sinister lurks deep in the dancing stage, motivated by jealousy and greed.
