-What type of movie is DDR Movie going to be and what's the storyline?
It's going to be a theatrical, romantic, and fun comedy genre movie for viewers of 18+. The basic story is that the main characters, Emi and her partner Rage participate in a dance contest for fame and fortune, and there they meet some familiar characters while some "evil" people are secretly planning to use the winner for money.

-Is DDR Movie going to be real-life or anime?
Real life. You want to see real dancing and stunts, right?

-When is the movie going to be completed?
Since there aren't that many people working on DDR Movie, it may take a long time for us to complete it, but it's very hard for us to say exactly when because we can't do it without the actors! The script is in the begining stages, settings still need to be chosen and and we definately need camera people after that, but it'll probably take a few years once everything is ready.

-Is the DDR game going to be in the movie?
Yes, it will be in the movie. Originally, it was just going to be the characters, but we decided the dancers can do a choreography and dance on the DDR at the same time.

-Why did you name your studio 16 Hours?
Alex was thinking of making a movie based on a Konami game (she's a huge Konami fan) and it took her 16 hours to choose DDR. Pretty wacky, huh? :3

-How did 16 Hours start out and develop?
Alex bumped into a Zelda Movie website (The Legend of Zelda Trilogy) and it inspired her to make a movie based on a game. She also has a good friend who always wanted to become a director, so she said, "what the heck?" But of course, it's not going to be that easy!

-Can I use content from DDR Movie?
It depends, we won't always let people use our works so you must always ask us for permission first if you'd like to use any content from DDR Movie and you must also tell us what you are using it for (avatar, site layout, fanzine article, advert, etc). Please also give us credit by linking back to the DDR Movie site!

-Does 16 Hrs. do webhosting? Could you give me webspace to host a site for me?
Well, we're using an excellent webhost for iframes called Pitas.com! It's free, so you can host your site there ^^

Acting Auditions:
-I want to audition for a part but I don't live in Texas! What should I do?
Well, it doesn't matter where you live in order to act, but you're kinda on your own there ^^; It would be best if you live in Texas.

-How do I audition for an acting part in DDR Movie?
Just e-mail us with the resume and some samples of your acting recorded and saved in a video format. You need to be suitable to a character you'd like to act as in the movie, but for more information and details go to the Audition section.

-What sort of things should I say/do when I'm auditioning?
You should be using your own imagination to come up with lines you think the character you are trying out for would say. This is to give us an idea of how well you can improvise as well as seeing how well you know the character's personality, although if you get really stuck then we can provide snippets of script lines. Please download the character list to learn more about each character's personality.

-Can I audition for more than one character?
Uhh, besides the fact that Johnny and Jenny are twins, we're afraid not. Sorry!

Applying For Staff:
-Can I be a staff member by helping out with the music/script/clothes/etc?
Currently we are looking for a few staff members to help produce DDR Movie. If you want to apply you must meet these requirements before we consider you to join the team:

+ Must be very talented, hard working and dedicated to the DDR Movie project!
+ Must provide links to full example work relating to DDR Movie such as music, video clips you filmed, costumes you made or examples based on what position you want.
+ If you are very experienced in certain fields such as filming and making music, please state those skills!
+ You should also have AIM and use it fairly often so we can communicate.

-Is there a certain age range you want the actors/staff to be?
We don't mind how young or old an actor/staff is as long as they meet all the requirements of the character/needs.

-I want to apply for staff, does it matter which country I live in?
Anyone who is interested can apply to be a staff member no matter where they live, but it depends what position you want to go for (Ex: camera people and other people who will help on stage obviously need to be in Texas).

-I've got some ideas for your movie, can I make any suggestions? Also, will I get credit for it?
But of course! We want DDR fans to see what they want to see, not watch a crappy movie! Please share your ideas, and if we really like them we'll make sure you get the credit!
