Visuals 9/10-
The dancing characters have made their return in this mix and the music videos have made their debut. It is easier on your eyes while you are playing so you don't get distracted easily. This was one of the big improvements from DDRMAX.
The music menus have been remade and everything is very clear and easy to see. The songs are color coded which makes it easier to pick your songs. Green are for initial song list, blue for repeats, purple for Oni's, yellow for unlocks and red for extra stages. It is easy to tell that this mix had more effort put into it then its predecessor.
Sound 10/10-
The sound for this game mainly depends on what you listen to the songs on. If you have a very good set of speakers then it will be great but if you have a rather old set then it will probably not be as near as good as it could be.
Gameplay- 10/10
The 32nd notes make their US debut and there are still the freeze arrows. These both will add a challenge for even some of the best players.
Nonstop mode replaces the Oni mode. Having them both would've been great but personally, I'd have to with Nonstop over Oni mode.
Endless mode was definitely something I was looking forward to. It's a pretty easy concept to understand you play until you can't play any more. The great thing about endless is just that it never stops. You can't perfect it and there is always room for improvement. It will interesting to see the scores that players reach. New heights of competition will be reached and the whole DDR community will benefit.
Replay 10/10-
Dance Dance Revolution is one of the most addicting games there is on the market today. If you play it, it is VERY hard to quit.
In conclusion-
Go buy this mix right now! Don't let it slip away. Be sure to get a dance pad too or you can just buy the bundle which comes with both the game and the OFFICIAL Konami Pad.
