:: Summer of 2007
 

Hot summer, but overflowing with blessings.

Drama In Christ LA took a well deserved break for half a year. But now we are back in full force. We have decided to look for a local theater in the valley to start producing Christian plays, concerts and musicals. We are also revisiting past productions and we are re-writing them and making them more powerful. We are putting together a strong team of Christian writers, song writers and lyricist, this is a new experience for us and we are looking forward to all possibilities. God had giving us a new vision and we are following His directions.

We are also re-writing our first production “Open House On Christmas Eve” and turning it into an independent film. We are very excited.

We are looking forward to present our next project “Revival Center” More on this in the next few weeks.

Pray that God will continue to direct us and that we follow His teaching and the direction of the Holy Spirit.

We give glory to God for giving us another year to share with everyone His good news.

This year we are looking forward in producing 4 new shows to minister Gods word.  One is called "Disciples," "Brothers With A Cause," "Help Me Jesus I'm Drowning" and The Town Of JEHIEL" - (God Lives)

Drama In Christ Ministry (DCM) together with Dance For Joy ministry will come together with invited performers for the 2007 praise concert "Just Gotta' Praise Him"

We will be holding auditions for Christian actors, dancers singers and musicians of all ages, race, color, gay or straight. It is time for all to come together with one thought; "Just Gotta' Praise him". This will be a volunteered concert for everyone involved.

Our latest production The Mixx-Nutz Christmas Celebration was performed this past December 2006, at our church Christ Chapel Of The Valley. What a great experience it was. Look for the Mixx-Nutz characters again in "Help me Jesus I'm Drowning." in the summer of 2007.

"The Mixx-Nutz Christmas Celebration" is a musical-comedy by Joe Elvis Alway. Aiding with the writing, Bart Baker. Directed by Joe Elvis Alway and Windell Middlebrooks. Under the musical direction of Louis Ramirez.

This story takes place in New York City, at the apt. of Mr. Mixx and Mr. Nutz. They have invited friends and family to celebrate their first Christmas Eve. Each person, different from the others, yet with one desire, to celebrate this important night in the history of Christianity. 

Oh' but this is not your normal gathering, or your standard celebration. Perhaps you might see yourself or maybe a family member in one of these individuals. Mixx-Nutz is not your typical Christmas story but it will surely uplift you in His name.  

Families come in all colors, shapes, ages, race, immediate family or chosen ones. On Christmas more than any other time of the year, people should not be alone and for that reason alone Mixx-Nutz invite everyone to celebrate with their family the birth of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
 
Our last production Back To Broadway With A Christian Twist was a huge success. 
 
Past productions include- the highly successful Open House On Christmas Eve, Witness, CP The Superhero In You,  Whosoeverville, Broadway With A Christian Twist and Lazarus, Friend Of Jesus.
