Purpose of the Project
To honor the memory of Bob Pastorio, MTC FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) members have begun working on projects to raise money for the "Bob Pastorio Culinary Arts Scholarship Fund". An endowment of $15,000 is needed to establish the scholarship through the Rockingham County Education Foundation. Pastorio, a longtime friend of Massanutten Technical Center (MTC) and Restaurant Careers Instructor, Debra Bontz, made a large impact on the center's culinary arts program as an extended sub in the program, adult education culinary arts teacher, mentor and consultant to the class on numerous projects. MTC students are busy planning numerous projects in order to raise the money needed for the endowment.
