On the 18th Feb 2006 Tanya and I left Australia bound for Europe. I had been planning the trip for around 2 years. After the initial planning, we decided to do a contiki tour as part of the grand working holiday. After making the decision i tried to get as much info as possible about contiki trips, and best information was through reading all the online travelogues i could lay my hands on (or my mouse). So before i left for UK, i decided that i would keep a record of my trip from day to day for myself, fellow tour members and any future contiki travellers.
I did my best at recording what i did, who i was with, how much it cost and the time of day, as the best travelogues i read were the ones that had a good amount of detail to get an understanding of the experience. For my family and friends reading this, hope you get an understanding of the amount of fun i had! It was awesome. Finally, for my tour mates reading this, hope it brings back all the memories. It was great to reminisce when creating the site.
