Charmed is a television show about three sisters who discover they're witches and they have to fight the forces of evil, mainly warlocks and demons.

In the beginning, there was Prue, Piper,  and Phoebe Halliwell and each of them had their own powers. After discovering the Book of Shadows, the sisters discovered their powers:  Prue could move things with her mind and cause an astral (spiritual) self to project wherever she wanted herself, her power of telekinesis  grew to the point where she could send her targets flying with a wave of her arm. Piper has the ability to slow molecules down to where they stood motionless in time and later she gained the ability to accelerate molecules to the point where they combust. Phoebe, the youngest, has the power to see into the past and future with premonitions and she could also levitate. They are known as the Charmed Ones.

Unfortunately, Prue was killed by a demon, and Piper and Phoebe found another sister, Paige. Paige has the ability to orb objects, (she calls for an object and it disappears into a swirl of blue/white lights and reappears into her hand or wherever she points to) and she can orb from place to place (disappear into a swirl of lights and reappear wherever she wants to), she can also change her appearance to another person. Later on in the show, Phoebe gained the ability to feel other peoples' emotions. 

Piper married her sister's and her whitelighter, Leo, who can orb and also heal people's injuries and had a "twice-blessed child" who they named Wyatt. He has many powers, consisting of orbing, orbing objects, projecting a shield around himself, and many others that have not been revealed yet. They had another child, Chris, who came from the future to save his family. He also has many of the same powers as his older brother, yet most are still unrevealed. 

In the show's last season, the sisters have to fight a great evil, sisters named Billie and Christy, who were chosen by destiny to take the Charmed Ones out.
