Welcome

Welcome to Billesley Players, one of the top drama groups in Birmingham.

who goes bare? The group has been performing drama in Birmingham for almost 40 years - doing anything from Arthur Miller to Alan Ayckbourn and has won many awards. So, if you fancy strutting around, wearing make-up and flash clothes in front of hundreds of people - come and join us. We are also keen to welcome those who prefer the backstage roles, such as set design and building, stage manager, props, prompt, costumes etc.

We perform at the magical and historic Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham and the lovely modern theatre called the Dovehouse, at Langley School, Olton. We rehearse every Thursday evening from 8pm at the New Billesley pub, Brook Lane, Birmingham, B13 OAB. We can usually be found in the bar afterwards from about 10:30 pm. Why not pop in to see us either during rehearsals or afterwards?
