Day is Dying is a combination of music, emotion, passion, and noise. Random sounds of distorted stringed instruments and rythmic percussion blend together into music that will grab the listener and never let go. This is only just the beginning.
8/5/04 - Hey all. It has been extremely long since an update, and this is all due to my extreme business/laziness this summer. We have been trying to get in as much practices as possible and we have 2 new songs near completion. Very exciting stuff. Both of them are quite different from our previous songs and quite different from each other as well. We did get to open for The Chariot earlier in June and that was a great experience. Those guys were really cool and it was a honor to play with them. We have a show coming up on August 22 in Easton, MD. Thanks to my buddy Marcy from Noise Injection for hooking us up with that. Best part about it is that its free. You can get all the details on the Noise Injection site. It will be our last show in MD for the summer since Caleb and I will be heading back to college the next day. I am going to try really hard to get some shows down in Lynchburg, VA during the school year. Also in the works is a completely revamped site. I want a bio and pictures and all that fun stuff so I will try to get to work on that. Again, my sincere apologies for the lack of updates. Please feel free to email me or IM me and let me know what you think of the music or whatever. Later. -Tim
3/11/04 - Well, all the songs are now up on Purevolume for your listening pleasure. Check it out. I going to the Tooth and Nail tour in Richmond tomorrow, then heading home Friday morning. Can't wait to get some practice and hopefully a little writing in. -Tim
3/5/04 - Sorry for the lack of updates. Well Battle of the Bands was fun. Thanks to all who came and cheered us on. We rocked our way to dead last place, not bad for the first show ever. On a high note, someone did get thrown out during our set because they were getting too violent in the pit, so that was fun. Looks like we will be playing another show on April 16 at the track at Liberty University. I'll let you know all the details as they come in. Next week, Caleb and I will be heading back to Maryland for spring break, so we are going to put some final touches on the new demo, or possible just redo the whole thing, something like that. I realized today that Soundclick really sucks for hosting our music, so I signed up with Purevolume. Looks like they are slowly becoming the new MP3.com(RIP). I'll put up a link as soon as everything gets put up. -Tim
2/12/04 - Well we made battle of the bands down in Lynchburg, VA on Saturday, Feb. 14 at the N-site building off Timberlake road. Its being put on by my buddies from Burning Bush. Check out all the details by clicking on the link. Please come and cheer us on. It will be lots of fun. -Tim
1/21/04- Well I thought I would try to start updating this site with some info. Sorry its been the same for so long but there really wasn't that much news to tell. Anyway, we recorded a new demo in early January. Well, all the old songs plus one new one. The quality should sound much better. Right now our buddy Jimmy is working on getting it all mixed and pretty sounding. Looks like we are going to be opening for Symphony in Peril sometime in March. I'll let you know as soon as we have a date. That's all for now. -Tim
