Gently Used Book Sale

The Gently Used Book Sale is February 26th to March 1st in the former Old Navy store next to the Ross store at Josey and Trinity Mills. The Gently Used Book Sale benefits the CFBisd Educational Foundation which provides among many things grants to teachers and scholarships for students.

If you love books now is the time to volunteer. They desperately need help sorting all the books that have been donated for this sale. Last year over 106,000 books were donated to this sale.

There is an added perk to this as quoted in the “Direct Line” newsletter found on the C-FBISD PTA website: Please remember for every hour that you work, you may put a book aside in the holding area. You can then buy the book at the regular price. We hope the evening and Sunday hours make volunteering convenient for everyone. You DO NOT have to schedule these times. You can just show up.
