The 2008 North Midlands Championships were held in Allenton, Derbyshire on Sunday 20th July. Our students performed very well in both patterns and sparring events, bring 8 medals back to Liverpool.
Special congratulations go to Nicola Lamb, who achieved gold in Ladies Green Belt Lightweight Sparring. Nicola was extremely nervous for most of the day, as this was her her first time taking part in a tae kwon-do tournament; but she fought hard and made her team mates proud by winning a well-deserved gold.
