QBasic is a programming language, created by Microsoft. It is based upon the original language BASIC (Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code). You may have heard of QuickBasic... QBasic and QuickBasic are almost the same thing, one is an Interpreter and the others a Compiler, it's as simple as that! This means that if you know how to program QBasic then you know QuickBasic too! Once you know, even some basic stuff you can create some very interesting things! It is very easy to learn and you could have your very first program up and running in under a minute. It can be used to create utilities, games, demos, the possibilities are endless. Obviously, as modern technology becomes more and more advanced so do the programming language and programs made by them. Slowly Qbasic is becoming less used and other language are becoming popular.
