music from david owens

This is the period of the band -Those Guys
We were  known as a psychedelic band in the summer of love.

Those guys consisted of:

David Owens - lead guitar, keyboard, vocals
Jimmy Owens - rhythm guitar, vocals
Bob Dabbs - drums, vocals
Bob Barnes - Bass guitar, harmonica, vocals
Eddie Deaton - lead guitar, keyboard, vocals

We made records, played various clubs all over the Dallas and Ft. Worth area as well as the college scene in Texas.  We did local television in Dallas and Ft. Worth.  We  played as lead in group for many of the top bands in the country when they played concerts in Ft. Worth.

* * * All recordings presented here are for educational purpose only, they are 'lo-rez' mp3 samples to illustrate the music of the time.

Note:  It takes a few seconds for all of the music mp3's to load into the players!
