Currently, I am attending Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant where I am pursuing a BFA with a 2-dimensional concentration with an emphasis in printmaking.
Artist Statement
The content and subject matter of my work is motivated in part by my identity. Questioning is of the utmost importance when trying to gain an understanding. As a 22 year old gay male, there are a lot of challenges and questions that I still do not understand. These questions deal with insecurities within myself or address society’s handing of these controversial issues. Printmaking allows me to better interpret these questions and thoughts through visuals rather than verbal or written explanations, where in most cases I tend to find myself tripping over my own words
