Be Back in 2009!
So, I was happy, that I was able to help everyone that has emailed me! I'm sad to say that I will not be able to help anyone until Feb. 2009! As a member of the Mormon Church, we get called to teach people about our church, and I was called to go to Cleveland, Ohio! I won't be able to help with any modifications, and I won't be online Gaming for the 2 years! I'm glad that you guys asked me for help! See you all in 2009!!!
DO NOT BUY THE SATA TO USB CONVERTER!!! I have been trying to Flash my Firmware for a few days now, and haven't had any luck. Me, being curious, decided to research this situation. After reading in forums, and getting help from Primitive (from 360mods.net), it seems that the SATA to USB Converter doesn't work when Flashing your Firmware. So for anyone that is thinking about modding their 360, and don't have SATA on their Motherboard, DON'T BUY THIS!!! So... Now that it's out of the way... I'm going to sell the SATA to USB Converter on ebay, for cheap, so for anyone looking for one, look it up. The seller is Aggiesalez. Anyways, I bought a SATA PCI CARD on Newegg.com, and I'll be waiting for that to come in. So, I have had success on getting the Drive into ModeB, and just learned, that I don't have to use the SLAX disc, to get it into ModeB. I have the Xeno Connectivity Kit, and it came with an ODD adapter, which uses your PC for Power, and connects to your DVD-Drive, and there is a switch that you press, to put the Drive into ModeB. So that is nice. If anyone wants to play online, while I wait for my SATA PCI CARD, email me. The only games I have right now are Gears of War, and Battlefield 2 (I sold my other ones so that I could get a Wii). I also have a ton of Arcade Games (Small Arms, Marble Blast, Contra, etc.). So just email me with your Gamertag, and I'll look you up.
Woot Woot!!! So, I sold some crap on ebay (like a display case that they have in game stores) and made enough money to buy the SATA to USB converter. It should be here within 9 days (hopefully). Also, I was planning on buying a DVD DL (Dual Layer) burner, but I just realized yesterday, that my burner can burn DL Discs. I'm so happy, because now I don't have to spend $200 to buy a burner. Stay tuned for more updates.
Okay!
So things are going a little slow around here. First off, I need SATA to connect my DVD Drive to my PC and update the Firmware. MY PC is a Windows ME edition, and it doesn't have anything SATA related. So now I'm selling crap on ebay, just to make some cash, so that I can buy a SATA to USB Converter. I may even go for the SATA to IDE converter. We will see what happens. Taking apart the Xbox 360 wasn't all that bad. They say, you can go to a mod-chip store, and buy an Opening Kit, but why spend money on that, when you can do it yourself, with tools around the house? Seriously, are people really that lazy? I guess so... Just so you know, you need a small screwdriver, or something to just take the plastic covering off, and then you need a Torx Screwdriver, to take the metal casing off. So... Ya... That's what's going on here. That, and sitting in my room, in front of my Xbox (original) watching Jackass: The Movie. Stay TUned...
Xbox 360 Modding
So I'm now thinking about modding my Xbox 360. It may be a hard process, but it would be nice to backup my games (because of family that can't take care of discs), but ya. So I'm probably going to add pictures of my progress of modding my Xbox 360. Stay tuned, for updates on the system, and parts that I will be using for it. Go to the pics section now, and look at the 360 progress section, to see what I'm using for it.
Welcome to the XboxModifications Website. I have been modding Xbox's for 2 years now, and have always loved it. I will do custom Modifications for others. Just email me with what you want to do, and I can give you an estimate of what it will cost.
