Dave Gwyther

I am influenced by the world around me. That which I see and that which I have not seen. My belief in equality and freedom and peace are the main basis for my songs. Music is such a powerful tool to reach out and touch people all over the world and unite them together. I hope to be able to use music to do this and bring a positive and influential messege to the world.

The first CD's I ever bought were an Oasis single and an Aerosmith album. As a teenager I mainly listened to rock n roll such as Oasis and Blur and later on got into some heavier music such as System of a Down and Slipknot. However, into my early 20's I started listening more to the likes of Donovan and Bob Dylan and these became big inspirations behind my music. Bigger inspirations still were those musical talents around me, including my old friend Ian Adamson, and more recently the musical talents of Seth Martin.
