Let me tell you a little about me.  My name is Kahlua and I am  roughly sixteen years old.  My mommy found me outside  her office building during a heavy snow in 1995 and decided to take me in. 

A new addition to our family arrived in October 1998...my daddy, whom I refer to as poppy.  This is when I was first introduced to a computer.  Poppy spent a lot of time on his, so I watched and learned.  It has made this website much easier to master.

Despite my protests, mommy and poppy took in another cat, my younger sister Tigger.  I'll let her explain the circumstances that brought her into our peaceful, serene and non-stinky world.  We moved in 2005 to our new house.  

When I arrived, I walked into mommy & poppy's bedroom and have not left since.  This is where my poppy creates his podcast, so I have his undivided attention in here.  As I have gotten older, I am having trouble getting up and down off the bed, so my grandpa, made me some stairs that help a lot.  I still most of my days sleeping, but I also love to get into the window and look at the bird in the backyard.  At least I think they are birds...my vision is not as good as it used to be!

This is the best...baby's breath! I love it when mommy pulls it while I try to eat it. YUMMY!!!!

          My favorite things...

This is the step my grandad made to help me get up on mommy and poppy's bed. But sometimes I have to stop and take a quick nap before moving on to the bed.

This is the peach mother, my favorite blanket. I am not sure exactly how mommy and poppy named the blanket, but supposedly it was after poppy said I liked the blanket because the cream side reminded me of my birth mother. Then mommy explained that I slept on both sides and she was fairly sure my cat mother was not a peach color. Ever since then they have called that blanket my peach mother. Mommy and poppy are so strange! I like it because its soft and warm!

I love sleeping in the sun and mommy & poppy's bed is great for that.
