Sad news folks..... PTS has now been finished.
the results are now up for the last two weeks.

Every new season it seems that we gain new friends and lose old ones.
This seems to be the same again this season. However more new ones than old.

With the Pavillion confirming two teams this season and the Elm having two also, the current total would stand at 18

BUT rumors are that the Royal Oak is pulling out (17) but the Wellington are to make a return (18) this good news is also backed up that two more fulham teams have shown great interest in coming accross, this would make 20.

The stewarts have now taken the forms and are strongly thinking about a team (21) and if you add the usual rumor that one from the dark side is coming this would be (22 and 23 if the Royal stays with us)  And this is only a rumor but this one was told to me by two of this sides players.
Something to do with the North and South .
The North and South........................  isn't that slang or something? 
But have no fear whatever the total you can all look forward to one of the best seasons yet.

We have new sponsorship deals to annouce and bigger and better ideas coming into place.

TRUST ME THE SEASONS AHEAD ARE GOING TO BE GOOD.

It seems that some people are getting a little bit fed up with the PTS.
Steve Cleary has approached me over the last couple of weeks with an idea of something called BUSTED LAST MAN STANDING.
The idea is to pick a premiership team each week
your team must win NOT draw or lose
You cannot pick a team twice and the person who is still going at the end wins.

I'm not convinced as of yet but it is quite clear to me that unless the PTS picks up or new collectors come forward it has to stop.

i will leave this with you over the next couple of weeks to think about and drawing up a flyer to get you views

It has only just occured to me that i haven't placed the last sixteen and reserves on the site....

This Thursday the Live and Let Live welcomes the remaining 8 teams to the north end rd pub to compete for the HDDA three title.

The Teams involved are:
Chiswick Society AB
Chiswick Memorial BB
Fox and Hounds A
Shep Bush A
Chiswick Mem A
Hammersmith A
Live and Let Live A
Shep Bush C

Finally i now have a reasonable laptop to bring to the comp nights and this week saw its first outing.
And I have to say it worked out very well indeed .

I would also like to thank Division two for a good turnout.
We had 60 players making up 30 pairs and supporters making our sponsors the Chiswick Society Club happy at the same time.

The standard was quite high also, and i don't say that lightly. It was a pleasure to watch some the players I don't normally see and very nice to see the youngsters improving.

Although I was pleased for the winners from the Chiswick Memorial Club, Gary Bridges and Scott McCarthy, I think the best result of the evening was from the Goldsmiths 'B' Pairing of Bill and Stan reaching the final and with the help of Gary and Scott failing to hit Double 1 straight away they actually had a dart to win the final. This was not to be and I cannot wait for the presentation night on November the 12th and to hear the roar these two will get when picking up the first bit of silverware for the Goldsmith Arms.

With the use of laptop now I have also placed the drawsheet on the site and if you print page two first and turn the paper and print page one you can fold in half and it becomes commemorative record of the evening

This week sees myself doing my yearly thing for charity only this year its THREE charities.
Also as it is a solo attempt we are going for the world record, I will be placing more on the site during the week but to say your support is needed is an under statement.

Sadly only one of the matches in the George Colliss were contested.
With the Hammersmith yet again failing to raise a team against the Royal Oak it seems that the rumors which have been hitting the HDDA for a while now are coming true.

The Royal Oak will play the Shep Bush who brushed aside the Live 7-0

In the DMJ the Favourite will play the Chiswick Society both Final will be played at the Chiswick Society Club on Final Night

Dartsinw6.com has lauched a blog page and at the moment it is very new to me. But we will give it a go, everytime we do something on the site or with the HDDA in general I will placing a comment on the Blog.

Division Two: between the Favourite (for being unbeaten thus far) and the Elm coming in on 0pts -28 leg diff is hard but the Elm seem to have enjoyed themselves and watch out next year.

With the AGM coming closer and closer, the first proposal is in...

It is Proposed by Jason Clark and Seconded by Steve Dolan

the proposal it for the committee to have an unchallaged right to change the divisional set up from two divisions to three from season to season.

At the moment the div 1 has 6 teams and the 2nd Div has 10 this has proved to be a nightmare for the committee to keep the gaps which have appeared in the fixtures full.
This year we have had J Clark flooring sponsoring the blind Pairs competition to add a bit of interest. However if the teams were to remain the same next season we would find ourselves falling behind BIG TIME.
So if the Committee were to say there was 3 divisions for the next season or next two seasons this would become an automatic promotion and relegation system.

Example Division one has the top six teams divison 2 would have the top 5 from current div2 and the third would have the remaining 5... THIS is only an example  but as you can see this would bring more weeks to introduce more divisional comps and league comps...

Please if you have any thoughts on this the committe would love to hear your veiws on the forum where a page is to be set up.
