The Little Beaver Lions Club plays an important role in our community. Contributing and Sponsoring of Darlington Days is one that we are forever grateful for. -Thank you-
We are a group of about 65 men and women dedicated to helping the less fortunate of our community. Each year we provide help totaling about $20,000. We are one of the most active clubs in Pennsylvania, well recognized for our service to the blind and other impaired individuals. In 2006 our club became one of five Lions clubs in Pennsylvania designated as a "Model Club" in Lions Clubs International's Campaign SightFirst II $200 million worldwide goal to fight blindness.
The NCNST passes through corporate and private lands with evidence of the areas lime kiln industry into the Borough of Wampum, PA located on the banks of Beaver River. Again, through private land partnerships and state game lands the trail makes its way to historic Darlington, PA and the North Fork of the Little Beaver Creek with an Adirondack shelter as the last chance for camping before crossing over into Ohio.
