Welcome to Darkness Embraced, Paranormal investigations, Demonic and Occult research for Rock Hill and throughout the Carolinas.
I started this site with the hope of bringing a fresh feel to the paranormal investigating field. There are numerous groups who investigate the paranormal now. They seem to lean to either the pure science or belief spectrum. Those in the pure science strive to prove life beyond death by scientific means ie, EMF readings, Thermal Changes, and a myriad of other techniques. Those that are in the belief category are those who already believe that there is life after death, they may use a host of "New Age" techniques or simply their intuition. There are, of course those who hunt for the thrill of being in a "haunted" place at night. I think that in order to have a complete picture one must incorporate techniques from both sides of the fence. There is room for intuition and hard data. I have no malice for a group that falls into either field and would never speak poorly of them for there line of thinking, I am simply wanting to combine the two lines of thought for the purpose of my investigation.
The mission of Darkness Embraced is to provide an accurate portrait of the Paranormal, and Occult through any means at our disposal both scientific, historical, and occult.
The mission statement does not mean that we use spirit boards or invocations for the purposes of our investigation. This simply means that we will do research in places some investigators will not (ie. occult texts) and if requested give out contact information about where to receive spiritual advise. A haunting can be a spiritually trying time for some and in such instances we can give our views on their individual cases, within the individuals religious/spiritual beliefs.

(Please accept this invitation to come on a "hunt", if you are interested. I do investigations for my own personal benefit, not to make money or "prove" anything, but I do document any and all scientific information a can. There is no experience necessary because no one is an expert at this. I only ask that people who wish to go on a hunt will be able to keep an open mind, to learn and grow together, sharing their individual talents to add to the group.)
