Derrick is currently appearing on BROADWAY in "Wicked" as the love interest Fiyero. He previously played Fiyero on the National Tour, and before that was the Fiyero understudy/ensemble member in the Original Broadway Cast and the San Francisco tryout production. 8/7/05: Added Eugene's words and photo to the Featured Fans page... everybody say "Hi, Eug!" Eugene is a superfan in San Fran, so if he wins lotto a few times between now and closing night there, we may have more photos and fun things for the site *crosses fingers*! Thanks, Eug!

7/27/05: Played with a few more things... New header banner on the front page, new welcome picture, added Kimmie's words and picture to the Featured Fans page... what a cute pic! Also, there are a few candid shots of Derrick on the Photo Gallery page.

7/7/05: Exactly ONE WHOLE YEAR since I first saw "Wicked"... and first saw Derrick Williams perform. How much my life has changed since then... it's kind of bizarre. But I am as happy as ever to know Derrick and to have been given such great opportunities because of "Wicked" and his kindness.

6/4/05: Derrick managed to get tickets for today's matinee for myself and my mom. They were row E, only five rows back from the stage...SO GOOD! The show was awesome. Jenna went on as Elphaba (Stephanie has been on and off last few weeks it seems). Afterwards we went to the stagedoor and they let us into the dressing room area when I said I was supposed to see Derrick. We hung out with Derrick for a while, got to see wardrobe, prosthetics, backstage, and so on... and got to meet Jenna, Kendra, Kristen and James (the last two are the dance captains of the show). SO MUCH FUN. Derrick rocks my world for today. [EDIT]: Check the About the Webmistress page for the whole story and pictures!

5/8/05: Yesterday was exactly 10 months after I saw Derrick perform on Broadway, and ironically, it was the day I saw him in Chicago with the tour for the first time. The tour is absolutely STUNNING, so you should all go get tickets, wherever you are. And Derrick is just amazing!! It was so cool to get to see him perform again after all this time, and to finally meet up again face to face. Still a sweetie!

4/2/05: I have updated the About Derrick page with the answers he gave me to the survey. I have also added to the About the Webmistress page and shifted a few things around here and there. New homepage header image. New images in the photo gallery (official tour pics, WOO!). Enjoy!

3/26/05: The site is now officially altered to the shorter and somehow more cool looking/sounding URL http://derrickwilliams.2ya.com/. Isn't that COOL? Yeah, I thought so. The photo page is updated, as is the Derrick bio page, and there are some links for you to check out, as well as a synopsis of "Wicked" if you don't already know (and if you don't, jeez, what planet are you from?).
