It only began with "The Adventures of Lily." The first book introduced the main character and her friend Nick. They live in Scott City, Kansas a small town in western
Kansas. Together the two sleuths search their hometown for unsolved mysteries. One day they happened to uncover the truth behind the legend of the Taemites. These mystical creatures were believed to have only been made up in order to scare children during Halloween. Unfortunately, Lily discovered that they were real and not only that, were out to destroy all humans; especially those living in Scott City. The book continues in "Lily And The Hidden Secrets," which Lily will destroy her greatest enemy. Someone close to the young detective will die. You will have to read the books to discover who.
Darcy grew up in Scott City, Kansas and by including that in her books is her way of paying tribute to the city that made her the author that she is today. Darcy lives in Wichita, Kansas with her husband and daugher. This up and coming popular childrens' author is eagerly working away on her next book; "Lily And The Hidden Secrets" which is the sequel to her first book. This time someone close to Lily will die.
