Photography doesn't have to be expensive....

Welcome to Danny's Digiscoping!!

A few of my photos!

Greetings One and All, welcome to my website. It is a low budget site set up for Digiscopers and bird enthusiasts. I'm not new to birdwatching, but am quite new to photography, and digiscoping felt like a natural progression.I have now been a digiscoper for 2 years. From taking pictures on your bird table, getting out in the field, digiscoping with either a digital compact or DSLR this site covers most areas, in a not too confusing way... I hope!

Remember, photography doesn't have to be expensive.......

Digiscoping has really broadened my horizons. It makes birdwatching even better. All of my photos have been taken with equipment from the cheaper end of the market. Rest assured that if I can digiscope, then you can too! None of the pictures on my website have been edited in any way, except to crop and resize them. I never adjust any of the photographic parameters, so what you see is exactly how the picture was taken.

I hope you enjoy my site.

Latest News Update!

We're into October already it seems!

It was a reasonably quiet start to the month, but things have picked up in the last week.

I saw 3 Glossy Ibis at Boyton Marshes in Suffolk, Stone Curlew at Minsmere, and an Ortolan Bunting at Corton, just outside Lowestoft.

You'd think all this was enough, but in just 30 mins of sea watching at Ness Point in Lowestoft Bonxie, Arctic Skua and incredibly close range Gannets were seen! Amazing!

I'm so glad August is out of the way, and at last birds are starting to move around a bit!

A good week, hopefully more too follow!

Migration is happening!!

Happy Birding!
