Doom Stuff:

This is the place where all my Doom related stuff will be... Since itīs a little section it wonīt have any "News" paragraph: instead of it, you will start here and, below, you will be able to navigate through whatever is to be found.

If I ever pay for the service that Freewebs is offering me I will surely add a "Reviews" section that will be also here... I hope this place is worth cheking out once it grows :).

Finally, if youīre looking for "Against The Clock" youīre not in the right place. Though is Doom related it has itīs own section. Check here.

My Doom wads:

Here is where all individual or small Doom wads will be... I donīt tend to make many of them but sometimes, when youīre in the middle of something bigger you just want to take a rest from that recurrent project and draw something else.. . Anyway, check here for screenshots, descriptions, reviews and things about any wad I make :).

If you want to send any comments, reviews or criticism about this work, just mail me to marlborometal@hotmail.com and add something about "The Wads section of your site" so I can clearly see it. Be sure I will read it, take into consideration whatever is worth it and link to any review if you send me one :).

Open Spaces:

Map type: Doom Legacy - Deathmatch.

Date: April, 14th, 2004.

Description: This was my first ever uploaded file... More than an actual deathmatch wad it was like an experiment with Legacyīs 3d possibilities in creating an interesting battle ground with fun FS traps and features, like triggered explosions and gravity changes. It ended up being fun to play and interesting, but I doubt it went far to any internet game...

A brief description in the text file was "An outdoor deathmatch map with water area, catacombs, towers... There are some scripting tricks like bombs and death-pits and also 3d floors here and there playing a cool role". I think it suits the map quite well.

Recently I opened this map again in the editor and found how blocky it was!. Thereīs nothing bad about blockyness, of course, but I think I could do some "Look and feel" updating to this map, īcos it looks a little ugly. Donīt get me wrong, itīs not ugly, itīs just that the choice of textures and rather plain architecture doesnīt make for an incredibly detailed map... That said, I doubt I will do this "Look and feel updating", this map is here for the sake of posterity and like that shall remain :).

I hope you enjoy it.

Underrated Angel

Map type: Doom Legacy - Deathmatch.

Date: July, 4th, 2005.

Description: Second official released file... There have been small demonstration maps before, and even a preview wad about the system "Against the Clock" uses (I could upload it :P) but this is the second thing that I actually make public as a complete product.

The story behind it is quite simple. I was taking a rest from my occupations and from "Against the Clock" and decided to map something quick. Knowing that I canīt draw a single player map quick īcos I tend to always add stuff, I started a small DeathMatch concept by drawing some boxes in the editor and detailing them later. This is the result.

The text file that comes with it says itīs "A small tech Deathmatch wad that should work nice with around six players. Itīs divided into two small complexes tied together to a central area and an underground sewer system. All weapons are present with the exception of the BFG". Of course, this is a little incomplete since it doesnīt speak of the attention to nice details I put into it to make it a visual pleasant experience or the small scripting (actually, it has only one useful script and itīs nothing new or impressive), the connection among areas or the coolness of the underground sewers... But thatīs enough of talking on itīs wonders :P.

So, itīs my second DeathMatch map wich I would love to see you play. Who knows?. Maybe when Legacy has a master server it can be seen there.
