My name is Daniel Mackey I'm a Vietnam Veteran, a husband, a father, stepfather and grandfather my wife's name is Sandy and she works for H&R Block as a tax consultant.My step daughters name is Amanda and my grandson my real pride and joy in my crazy life his name is Dalton he's a little like Speedy Gonzalas because at the age of just two years he is all over the place. Through the years I have learned to love gardening and doing my own yard work. I like to plant and raise most any kind of flowers and vegetables I have a real love for any kind of cactus as well.

I like music most all types like oldies rock n roll from the fifty's and sixty's, and Country music again from the past such as John Cash, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Buck Owens, Ray Price and Freddy Hart just to mention a few. And I listen to good blues by B.B.King, Howling Wolf, Slim Harpo, Lazy Lester and many many more.Then there's Jazz, big band and swing it's all good and they all have a place in my heart.

I just finished my first book a horror story unlike any other you ever read, because the antaganist is a character you would never expect with a surprise ending alfred Hitchcock, Clive Barker, and Steven King would think wow I wish to goodness I thought of that. It will give you nightmares I know because it has done just that to me and I wrote the story. I also wrote a childrens story but I'm trying now to find a cartoonist to help me with the drawings needed to finish up completly, and I'm half way through my second horror story the hardest part perhaps comes up next trying to get a publisher interested in my work.

I play guitar but I need more work at it because I don't think I'm all that good, I want to learn how to play my hamonica but really I don't know where to start I hope maybe one of you who visit this website maybe one of you could explain it to me via e mail, any way I write my own songs with music and lyrics, and who does the cooking around here but me it's me! But I don't mind because I enjoy cooking, I have my hands full and there's never a dull moment around here I have a lot of irons in the fire for sure but I would have it no other way.
