Hello there and a warm welcome . I came into the acting profession fulltime at 50 .Going on a fulltime acting course was not really for consideration on a practical level and so I spent my time getting practical experience .

After a fairly hectic 12 months I was accepted into Equity and a name change was required, Daniel Jefferson became my stage name.( My real name is David (Dave) John Lee)

I had been looking for a new direction/purpose in life and have tried to apply a focused and driven energy in all I do.It may be along the way,my new career will take a different or additional route , it really depends on how the "market" responds to Daniel Jefferson.

I have been fortunate in that the demand for me was there and I took every opportunity to acquire experience in a wide mix of projects such as Festive character appearances,commercials,music videos, voice-overs,"look-alike" assignments,a modest amount of stage and event work, a brief variety of TV exposure and a generous selection of both Short and Feature Films.I have brought to bear a very natural style drawing on lifes experiences applying emotions and reactions as I felt were natural ,working with fellow Actors and Directors ,to achieve the final objective.

I hope you find this site both informative and interesting.It has been one of my passions whilst abroad in the Far East, hopefully it will entertain as well.

Presenting and Photographic Modeling skills are two additional assets in the offering.

I have enjoyed what I have done and would look to build further my track record as a Screen Actor.

By Christmas we should be based in Tanzania, for fresh challenges.Projects are lining up,along with some focused Professional training, probably in early 2010.(A decent sized break in the UK, circa September 2009, is definite)I maintain the acting enthusiasm,energy,and indeed the focus , but the dayjob continues.
