Out-Of-Character Rules.
-> You must be willing to work with others. Characters are as unique as the people who play them. Be respectful of that.
-> Do not for any reason use someone else's character or post something that someone else's character may or may NOT react to. If your character throws a punch, it isn't automatic that he connects - let the other person decide. (Please remain in the plausibility of your characters, though.)
-> What the BoD says, goes.
-> The list is not to be used for flaming or arguing things that do not have to do with the RP.
-> Please let's try to keep things PG-13.
-> Please try to be prompt with replies. If you need time off, let us know, just so we know what characters we have to work with at a time.
-> In correspondance with the above, please understand if replies are not as quick as you would like them. People, unfortunately, do have Real Lives that they have to tend to first. College, School, Work, and Personal Issues ALL come before the RP. Aka S*** Happens.
-> If you have a plotline that would affect the world of Danailia as a whole, please discuss it with the BoD first. We might be able to help, or we might have to say no because it doesn't fit properly.
In-Character rules.
-> IC actions have IC consequences. For example, if your character tries to kill a god, the character will not win, and will be severely punished by all the other gods and goddesses.... probably killed then tortured in a very personal hell for the rest of eternity.
-> Stay within the guidelines of your character. If you pick a dragon and say it's twenty years old, you're going to be playing a very very young dragon and should play it accordingly. You have a character with specific magics and magic levels, don't play outside them. Your character has a certain personality, don't change it with the flick of a switch.
-> If we say you can't have a certain type of being or power level, please respect that. There are reasons for everything.
-> Gods and goddesses are NOT to be used by anyone but the BoD. Anyone found to be doing so will be placed on probation. This is your warning. You may mention a god if it doesn't have any action on your character. like "Oh gods" or "I hope to the green goddess that...." you can't say "I was born of the Lord of the hunt and a peasant woman" or "I was talking with the Bloody Goddess the other day..." If your character is bluffing, say that he/she is bluffing or they might get a visit.... I know the Bloody Goddess would have a fun time with anyone who took her name in vain. If you NEED some divine intervention, talk to the BoD. They may or may not grant your request on a case by case basis; the gods are not a get out of jail free card.
