About the Odyssey
The Odyssey is an exciting story written by Homer. It is a very action packed adventure revolving around one man, whose name is Odysseus. It spans over a very colossal universe with all different kinds of people and creatures in it from cannibals to mysterious six headed monsters, gods and goddesses and other mythological creatures. Odysseus was called upon to assist in the Trojan War, in the acceptance of this, he is forced to leave his wife behind and also his newborn son, Telemachus. Odysseus, being as intelligent as he is, helped to trick the Trojans into letting a giant wooden horse inside the impenetrable wallas of Troy. What the Trojans didn't know was that the giant wooden horse was full of Greek warriors that were going to sneak out and open the gates of Troy to their fellow Greek soldiers then kill all the Trojans inside of Troy. After the fall of Troy, Odysseus' journey home begins, it will be the longest journey of his life, will he be ready for what lies ahead of him?
